Be Like Mike

2021 January 21
by bc3b

Few patriots have contributed (and sacrificed) more than My Pillow founder Mike Lindell.

  • When COVID-19 started, Mike dedicated part of his production facility to making face masks (shades of patriotic companies changing over to support the war effort during WWII).
  • He has made major charitable contributions
  • Mike has been a staunch ally of Donald Trump and stood by him through thick and thin

Now it appears Mike’s patriotism and support for Mr. Trump is hurting him financially as leftist buzzards circle. Pushed by leftist pressure, QVC, Kohl’s, Bath Bed & Beyond and Wayfair have announced they are dropping My Pillow. Bath Bed & Beyond claims it’s because of lagging sales. But companies don’t make a major announcement they are dropping a brand for lagging sales. They do so to virtue signal.

If there ever was an American success story, it would be Mike Lindell, a former drug addict who became a very successful businessman creating jobs for hundreds of Americans. But, since Mike isn’t a liberal, his success isn’t celebrated by the media. The same is true of conservative women. The media always has glowing press and photo shoots for Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris and negative press about Sarah Palin and Malania Trump although both are much more beautiful.

We can only beat the left by employing their own tactics against the woke, like boycotts. With its broad range of products, P&G is a perfect target.

74 million Americans and their families pack a lot of financial clout … if they are organized.

Will you join me?

Mike Lindell, Beauty and the Beast. Someone forgot to change when she got out of bed, but Vogue called her glamorous.

I love boycotts. They are easy and fun. Colgate is next to Crest. Finish is next to Cascade. All is next to Tide and Gain. Schick and Bic are next to Jill-ette. That wasn’t hard, was it?

Kohl’s just joined Target and has a target on its back.

If you have not already, might I suggest that everyone starts using Protonmail for any political messaging? It is encrypted and the servers are Swiss-based. It’s also very user-friendly.

Who ever thought we’d need to go to Switzerland to protect Americans from their own government?

    How American business has changed.

We have a client that produces and markets full-line (color and haircare) women’s products. It isn’t one of the biggies (like Wella, Paul Mitchell, etc.). Salons are ordering from independent distributors rather than the country’s largest distributor because the biggie doesn’t stock enough inventory.

Our dryer died. I bought a replacement on sale at Home Depot last night. Lowe’s had the same model in inventory ($65 more). Best Buy has the model on its website with a projected March 1 delivery.

It’s a mid-range Whirlpool manufactured in Marion, OH.

American business has gone from “just in time” inventory to “wait until we have a backlog” ordering.

    From the article:
The teachers were told to locate themselves on an “oppression matrix.” The “privileged social group” category included white people, Protestants, and “male assigned at birth.” “Oppressed social groups” include “transgender, genderqueer, intersex people” and “Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs.”

    I self-identified as a Black-Transgendered-Sikh just in time!

#12 Those groups listed as oppressed are oppressed….they just don’t know it.

“Male assigned at birth” Why does that make me laugh? ‘Did you have a boy or a girl? I don’t know, it hasn’t been assigned yet?’

Someone like Mike has to take a different tact in handling the oppressors. First of appeasement does not work so fight like hell. Second he can’t be ‘fired’ so the SJW have to go after his support system. Which means he has to sue Mastercard. But that is not his true target, but the discovery to get the list of BLMs that sent the messages that caused management to make the decision they did. Then you sue BLM inc., yes it is registered as a corp, for torturous business interference.

On its logon/registration page Protonmail promotes “Secure Email based in Switzerland.” DuckDuckGo says “Tired of being tracked online? We can help. We don’t track you ever.”

Hopefully, more wise brands will soon realize they can grow their business by appealing to patriotic Americans.

If the people running Discover Card had half a brain, they would do this. They have tried various things and never really made a dent. If they could attract a large number of conservatives, they could quadruple their cardholder base in six months.

Anyone who follows BJG realizes I was a huge fan of Meijer. When Rep. Pete Meijer (a Meijer heir) not only voted for impeachment, but became the darling of left wing cable networks, I moved my grocery shopping to Hollywood Markets and Busch’s, two smaller southeast Michigan chains. They may not have the selection and I may be paying a little more, but it’s a decision that I feel good about.

Is he really gung-ho on impeaching Trump or is he just sucking up to Schumer or some of moderates who might switch parties like Murkowski to try to avoid the dems nuking the filibuster, etc. Could even be sucking up to Manchin somehow as he likely wants him to switch eventually.

I think the left understands that if the GOP takes over in 2022 and does more austerity during the “everything bubble” is will destroy the economy even worse this time.

The United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) today announced that the UA Political Engagement Committee (PEC) has concluded its endorsement process with a decision to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden for President.

    This is now:

    Monday, January 18, 2021
The United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) issued the following statement today following the news that the Biden-Harris Administration plans to rescind the permit and effectively end construction on the Keystone XL pipeline:
“In revoking this permit, the Biden Administration has chosen to listen to the voices of fringe activists instead of union members and the American consumer on Day 1. Let me be very clear: When built with union labor by the men and women of the United Association, pipelines like Keystone XL remain the safest and most efficient modes of energy transportation in the world. Sadly, the Biden Administration has now put thousands of union workers out of work. For the average American family, it means energy costs will go up and communities will no longer see the local investments that come with pipeline construction,” said Mark McManus, General President of the United Association

Well I’m basically a keynesian because it’s the only thing that works. You either kick the can down the road or do armageddon. None of these bubbles can be unwound. And if you don’t do keynesian solutions and MMT solutions, you lose the election like Trump, and then the dems do it 10 times bigger so you lose even bigger.

I mean Trump needed the $2000 stimulus checks in August, but Mitch and the GOP were ideologically against it, and Nancy wanted it to fail and didn’t want to negotiate because she didn’t want Trump winning reelection anyways. I mean the GOP did the same thing in 2008. Bush wanted to let capitalism run its course letting the banks go under until he realized at the edge of the cliff that if he didn’t recapitalize the banks, the world was literally going to end. Of course by then it was too late to stop the dems from winning 60 senate seats. Some of Joe’s plans to create a new housing bubble is shrewd as well.

The politicians in the UK found a really nifty trick: they did away with the 30 year loan (or whatever it was in the UK) and apply some calculus making it infinite year duration loan. That way you never have to pay back any of the principal just interest payments. You essentially would have be just paying the interest itself so the banks are supported, and the consumers get cheaper housing.

if one has a doctorate in nursing, does the nurse supervisor go around the hospital calling herself a doctor?

another example- Even in undergraduate\graduate institutions, the teachers are called professor “insert name” when they have a doctorate. Someone with a doctorate in mathematics doesn’t usually call themselves that.

Hate to say it but that is an admission that politics are more important than economy. It appears to be true too. Treasury is juicing the economy because a set of careers are on the line not that the economy needs the underbrush cleared.

“The politicians in the UK found a really nifty trick: they did away with the 30 year loan (or whatever it was in the UK) and apply some calculus making it infinite year duration loan. That way you never have to pay back any of the principal just interest payments.”

That’s an interest only loan with no balloon payment at end of term, ‘cuz there is no end. But that would be an excellent way to take a country socialist. The note is created. Buyer makes payments FOREVER. The lender sells off the note. The Fed picks up the note and sells it to Treasury (what a great way to draw down the balance sheet, eh?), by the way the Fed owns 40% of all mortgage instruments already. When the owner sells or dies Blackrock, Treasury’s proxy, slaps a For Rent sign in the front yard. Rinse, repeat.

The govt does not even have to fake the pretense of selling at that point.

end note: Nice play too. The ‘owner’ pays rent and is still responsible for maintenance to boot rather than the landlord. Would love to make deals like that in the private sector what is left of it.

True to a point. Generally persons with those credentials are formally referred to as either —

    * ‘Dean’ because they have risen up the ladder of the academic snake pit. Or,
    * ‘Chair’ because much of their output has landed the institution juicy endowments. Or,
    * A new one on the horizon, ‘Laureate’ for those who have won the Nobel prize.

Having the ole PhD does not have the cachet it once had, that is for sure. A PhD in Ed is an admission of two things:

Like most unions. the United Association of Union Plumbers and Pipefitters (UA) represent the views of the union leadership, probably not the rank and file.

When you look at the goals of Biden and the Democratic Party, who is left out? Working class Americans. Looking at Detroit and the automotive industry, with affirmative action, many blacks have done extremely well (in both the white and blue collar ranks). I suspect a reasonable percentage of them voted for Trump and John James.

The problem with working class Americans (of all races, religions and nationalities) are disorganized. There is one man that working class Americans can unite behind. The left knows this and they are working to destroy him.

Sitting in my office and just had a cold call from a very nice black man. He owns a small instant print facility about three miles away. Aggressive, but in a very good way.

I definitely will give him a chance to quote on things (starting in a small way – as I would do with any new vendor).

As I have said numerous times, I believe a new populist party would be very wise to follow the example of New York’s Conservative Party, which was reasonably successful in the 1960s and 1970s).

If the Republican candidate for congress is sufficiently conservative, support him/her. If not, run a candidate. In national politics, get behind the most conservative candidate.

Running as Conservative/Republican candidate, James Buckley (William F.’s brother) defeated Roger Goodell’s father, the incumbent appointed by Nelson Rockefeller, and won in the general election.

A Patriot Party must be very flexible if it is to be successful.

Today’s armed forces are very much like the unions. There is a major disconnect between field grade officers (major and up – particularly flag officers – generals and admirals) and company grade officers and enlisted ranks.

Field grade officers – particularly generals and admirals – are highly political. Their primary concern is their own personal careers and advancement. To my chagrin, a tour in the Air Force convinced me that many/most field grade officers are especially patriotic.

Idea Of Taxing Unrealized Gains Resurfaces As Money Printing Intensifies

Funny thing there are people in silicon valley that work entirely to be paid only in crypto, pay there rent in crypto, pay their food in crypto.

They have zero interaction with the US dollar system, but according to this they would owe a lot of capital gains taxes.

Charlie Munger (Warren Buffet’s partner) explains wealth

“The first $100,000 is a b*tch, but you gotta do it.”

“I don’t care what you have to do—if it means walking everywhere and not eating anything that wasn’t purchased with a coupon, find a way to get your hands on $100,000. After that, you can ease off the gas a little bit.”
