The (lack of) Future of the GOP
Another presidential election is in the books and the gap between the Congressional GOP and the base has never been greater. Once again, Republican voters have been stabbed in the back by people they elected to represent them.
There are neocons like Liz Cheney, whose #1 goal is to complete her father’s unfinished business of starting WWIII as long as no one named Cheney receives as much as a paper cut. Liz is a big fan of the Vietnam War as her very existence revolves around being Dick’s last gasp effort to avoid military service. The Cheney Book of War Heroes has hundreds of pages – all of them blank.
Next are the “RINO frauds,” like Mitt Romney and John Kasich. People who portray themselves as sanctimonious and self-righteous (holier than thou, if you will) are usually the biggest hypocrites and frauds. Willard comes by it honestly as his father “Brainwashed George” and mother “Lemonade Lenore” were world class backstabbers whose daggers were always aimed at the backs of conservative Republicans … never Democrats.
Then, there are the “sunshine patriots” or “sunshine conservatives” like Mike Lee and Ben sASSe. People like them portray themselves as conservatives, or even “purists” in sASSe’s case. Yet they would sell out the people who elected them and the country in a “New York minute” to fill their personal coffers or the benefit their major donors. A recent example is Lee pushing through major increases in H-1B quotas to benefit his Silicon Valley donors.
Last, there are the “fast buck artists,” like Mitch McConnell, who seldom makes much of an attempt to act like a patriot or a conservative. Mitch’s priorities are taking care of #1, taking care of wifey and wifey’s parent’s shipping business as well as serving as a stooge for the US Chamber of Commerce and other multi-national business interests.
For decades these unscrupulous Vichy Republicans have been more than willing to cave any time they feared it might harm their political careers. Is the GOP base ready to 1) fight or 2) should we form a new party (notice I didn’t say third party)?
When the Republican Party reorganizes itself next year, GOP voters strongly believe President Trump should remain the role model, but most think the party should look for a new face to be its next presidential candidate.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 72% of Likely Republican Voters think their party should be more like Trump than like the average GOP member of Congress. Twenty-four percent (24%) see the average Republican in Congress as a better model. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Most Republicans have consistently identified more with Trump than the average GOP member of Congress in surveys for the last several years.
With 72% preferring someone with Donald Trump’s values over those of congressional Republicans, we’re ripe for a revolt. The base disagrees with GOP leadership and the Congressional Republicans on a vast array of issues. Now is the time to act.
My preference is to form a new party that is a hybrid similar to New York’s Conservative Party. The Conservative Party was relatively successful in the 1960s and 1970s, electing James Buckley (William F.’s brother) to the US senate.
Here’s the basic method of operation. If the Republican candidate is sufficiently conservative/national populist, support him or her. If not, challenge that candidate or at the least, don’t support him/her. Do not make any donations to the national Republican Party under any circumstances. People whose ideas parallel ours (@ BJG) represent 72% of Republicans, yet we have no control over the party.
The key is to be focused and strategic and to use our resources wisely. Don’t follow the Libertarians’ example as they have been around 50+ years and never won anything. By running a presidential candidate, all we would do is ensure that a Democrat is elected (as if voter fraud doesn’t already ensure that). Start by:
- Primarying RINOs in solidly red states and congressional districts (going after people like sASSe, who unfortunately was just reelected) and Willard.
- Unite behind the most national populist Republican presidential candidate in 2024 to knock out the RINOs
We need to get organized and there is no better time than NOW!
Hat tip: Rasmussen Reports
With sincere apologies to used car salesmen everywhere. They serve a purpose. Willard is just a waste of fecal matter. “I’ve got a like new 1993 Saturn. Its a wagon so the roof will hold a dog carrier for your cross-country trips.”

Regarding our discussion of email, the more I thought about it the more I decided using my gmail (Google) account wasn’t a great idea. Here is a good article regarding email providers, most of which offer free basic email service and includes pros and cons for each:

Excellent suggestion.
I will do this. I will send out a mass mailing to everyone who registered with BJG. Title will be ‘Blackout List’. If someone wants to be on the master list, include your desired email back by simply including it and reply back.
I will send the email this weekend. I will send out the completed list the following weekend to everyone who replied.

Parlor has been banned from good ap store to prevent protestors from seeking out a twitter alternative. FB has banned Trump. Reddit just banned the Trump subreddit. Flynn and Sidney Powell are banned on twitter as well.
Big Tech is likely going to try to ban Trump, the Trump family, and Trump supporters from any platform for the midterms or 2024

A Gab post.
I like how he made the “M o c kingbird” unsearchable.
Over the past several weeks I have been openly warning the Gab community to be on the lookout for fedposters and threats or encouragement of violence on Gab. This PSYOP campaign started back in early December with newly created accounts popping up out of nowhere and making threats of violence. We have zero tolerance for this behavior and it is absolutely not free speech.
This has always been our policy. We have thousands of volunteers, customers, and longtime community members who helped us stomp out this PSYOP campaign over the past several weeks and expose it. After this week, it’s clear why this PSYOP was started: to take down alt-tech platforms and frame them for the January 6th protests that ended with the police killing an unarmed woman.
Almost instantly after police allowed protestors into the Capitol the New York Times started a baseless narrative that this protest was organized on alt-tech sites, and in particular on Gab, without offering any proof, screenshots, usernames, or evidence to back these baseless claims. I’ve recorded a video highlighting how this all played out. I hope you’ll take some time to watch it to learn how the CIA M o c k ingbird Media complex operates. The way we fight back is with truth and by speaking truth to their power, which is quickly fading.
God bless you and God bless America

Trump kind of made a deal with the devil promoting twitter over the past four years.
Everyone knew twitter would let him use and promote their platform, and then ban him and his supporters on the way out the door after he lost his power especially since that gains them favor with the incoming admin.

My wife and I only registered “Republican” to vote in the Primaries…not that voting in State primaries works in the PRK, Democrats win everything.
If Trump formed a political Party at least half of GOP voters would switch…immediately. Just make it MAGA, since that is already branded!
[11]
“Trump kind of made a deal with the devil promoting twitter over the past four years.”
That pretty much sums up the last 4 years in general.
[12]
Eph, the last four years were a pause…though not a perfect one, obviously. The pause is over.
The difference between 2016 and now is that the Left/media/Democrats/Swamp got “surprised” (gobsmacked, actually) then. They got over confident, and spent 4 years vowing to NEVER be surprised again…so they rigged the election.
They also spent 4 years vowing that WHEN they got back in full power (which they now are) they wouldn’t waste a minute trying to “unite” the country, unless by “unite” you mean “crush into obedience”. As soon as Biden is installed in the basement of the White House this will begin, with a true vengeance.
The crushing will begin as soon as Congress convenes after the Installation, and the RINOs will willingly go along. There will still be time to prepare, but by mid-year be ready to “resist”.
Last add for now (we’re still traveling), I just started Kurt Schlichter’s 2nd book in his series titled: ‘Indian Country’. The preface is brutally honest, and since the book was written 3 years ago, is indeed “too optimistic”. My years left on this planet will be devoted to preparing as much of a safe and free haven for my grandkids as I can. I pray I’m successful.
[13]
Maybe I’m contrarian but I actually like the direction the GOP has taken lately. I voted libertarian or constitution party during GWB years, Romney years, and McCain years but I did vote for Trump four times. Although Trump has nothing to do with the Ron Paul movement, I did think it had some precursor effects.
McConnell has been a better major leader than his Lott, etc. He refused to allow a vote on Garland despite his own party demanding he do so. McCarthy is a better house leader than Ryan, Boehner or Gingrich.
I just think the party can only do so much. We’re end running a 40 year debt cycle at the moment. Lyn Alden who I follow has noted that these 40 year debt cycles perfectly correspond to the upheavals predicted in the book 4th turning. The dollar is also losing its reserve status at the moment along with the rise of China as the hegemon in the next 5 years and the planned invasion of Taiwan, which we will be unable to defend. No matter how smart the politicians are I don’t see the GOP or any political party finding easy solutions for these things and to the extent there are easy solutions it will probably be Biden printing money via student debt relief and stimulus checks.
[14]
“If Trump formed a political Party at least half of GOP voters would switch…immediately. Just make it MAGA, since that is already branded!”
Lets also hope it has been incorporated as well. The Tea Party had made great strides. The problem for TP is that there was no control, anybody could declare themselves a member and run under that banner. It is why it ultimately failed.
[15]
” we will be unable to defend.” post 13
We won’t even try~~~
[16]
PRP, 13,
Understand your point, however ….
If the GOPers had really been doing their job there would not even be a debt cycle. Had we achieved balanced budgets back in the 80’s and maintained, none of what is about to hit this nation would even occur.

While the Tea Party made great strides, it’s weakness was that it was not unified and some leaders (e.g. Jenny Beth Martin) seemed more interested in lining their own pockets than promoting conservative values.
[19]
Disagree. It’s inevitable. The Fed is creating the long term debt cycle.
Austerity just loses you elections at this point.
[20]
PresidentRonaldPaul –
Comparing Lott and McConnell is somewhat like comparing Stalin and Mao. The most traitorous of all was Paul Ryan. He single-handedly stopped so much of the Trump agenda and no one had the guts to stop him. Like Lott, he is cashing in big time.
[21]
McConnell has been good lol. His wife is jumping ship because she is a female, and females do stuff like that.
But Elaine Chao is Taiwanese so she is probably going to be more loyal in the end to whichever party is more gung-ho on defending Taiwan. Honestly if we could just make a deal with Taiwan that TSM would be destroyed in the event of invasion in exchange for US citizenship it would probably a reasonable compromise.

Biden is so temperamental with his advanced dementia he will probably challenge Xi to a fist fight or pushup contest.

Punishing conservative groups is a much higher IRS priority than getting checks to the correct bank account.
[26]
Every large multinational company has an offshore bank account in case a US judge seizes its account so that it has the ability to pay legal fees and fight. Bitcoin private wallets are an offshore bank account for individuals. If a judge seizes your bank accounts for “terrorist” activity or as crazy divorce or because the government wants capital controls like Venezuela Maduro regime, it allows private individuals to have offshore bank account.
At these prices I’m not necessarily advocating people buy BTC, but I have continued to be irresponsibly long BTC. It’s no different than in the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy wore the silver slippers advocating for adding a silver standard to the fiat money backing in opposition to the yellow brick\gold road. The definition of money is always changing.
[27]
The problem with BTC, which I do favor, is that it is open ledger. If the wrong people get hold of the data it is like handing over all your transactions in that ledger. If you need some ‘black opps’ money, try ARR. Its pure peer to peer.
[28]
George Soros has a quote that I can’t find but it essentially goes something like this: when an asset fails and something happens that should have destroyed it, pay attention. BTC has had at least 3 of these events. Mount Gox exploded via the hacking scandals in 2014 as well as the crash with an 80% drop in 2017. As far as adoption it’s been retail then hedgefunds, and now corporations. Next more establishment corporations and eventually pension funds and eventually governments will hold it as a reserve asset. Nice they about it is it’s about the only thing individuals get to front run rather than the other way around.

Flashback: charges against Trump Inauguration lawbreakers were dropped.
https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/425035/
Federal prosecutors on Friday moved to drop charges against the last 39 people accused of participating in a violent protest on the day of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The motion to dismiss charges by the U.S. attorney’s office seemingly ends an 18-month saga that started with the Justice Department attempting to convict more than 190 people.
That effort saw the government facing off against an intensely coordinated grassroots political opposition network that made Washington the focus of a nationwide support campaign — offering free lodging for defendants, legal coordination and other support.

Amz just yanked Parlers aws services. lol This is why trusting your business to run in someone else’s “cloud” is never a good idea long term, I get they were still in the bootstrap phase but this should surprise nobody. That said it serves a reminder to all aws customers that you can’t trust aws for anything business critical.
[41]
KH I was just about to post that! Here’s Parler CEO
John Matze ·
@John
Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech off the internet. There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on amazons proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.
We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies.
This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place. We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.

40,
I second that observation. If you don’t own the hardware, open source the software, get your IP’s directly from IANA, etc you don’t ‘own’ your space. I can buy 8core/16thread box with plenty of memory and storage and 1Gb ethernet for less than $1000. Its the size of a 5x5x5″ cube. For what is contained in BJG its overkill.
I am in the belief that long term what apple, twitter, facebook and now aws have done will shoot them all in the foot long term. When those that are being banned get under their belt the skills necessary to build from the ground up it won’t be stoppable. The tech giants will lose audience, etc. You can also build your own clouds, place technology out of the reach of US law, etc.
I watch a live stream of Deep South Homestead on YT this evening. They were even talking about the concerns of whether their channel will survive long term due to the religious aspects they cover from time to time.

Agree with you drdog on what the tech firms are doing long term. Not very bright. I have seen over 6 months ago, many creators on Youtube creating sites on Bitchute, Pratreon, Brighteon and other sites in anticipation of being shut down by youtube.
