It’s All Trump’s Fault

2021 March 23
by bc3b

The Biden Administration is taking credit for every positive action and in deep- denial on anything that is negative.

Biden takes credit for development of the COVID vaccine and roll-out, claiming the vaccine didn’t exist before he took office, even though he received shots before taking office.

It’s totally different with the border crisis.  Secretary of Homeland Security. Secretary Mayorkas places all the blame on former President Trump even though there was no border crisis when Trump was president. Mayorkas is either incurably ignorant or – more likely a Brian Stelter-Chuck Todd class liar.

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has claimed that the number of people looking to enter the U.S. at the sourthern border could be the highest in 20 years, but in an interview with “Fox News Sunday” he claimed that this is because of the Trump administration’s actions, not policy changes that took place in the early days of President Biden‘s administration.

Biden has scrapped a number of Trump’s policies which included having asylum seekers remain in Mexico instead of staying in the U.S. while they wait for their cases to be heard. Mayorkas denied that Biden’s changes have encouraged the current migrant surge.

“What we are seeing is the result of President Trump’s dismantlement of the safe and orderly immigration processes that were built over many, many years by presidents of both parties,” Mayorkas said. “That’s what we are seeing, and that’s why it’s taking time for us to execute our plans to administer the humanitarian claims of vulnerable children. That’s what this is about.”

Addressing the elimination of the remain in Mexico policy, Mayorkas said the Biden administration has replaced this “with a safe and orderly triage system working with our partners in Mexico and humanitarian organizations in the international space and we are not expelling vulnerable children.”

The secretary also defended Biden’s elimination of Trump’s “safe third country” agreements which required migrants to seek asylum in another country first if they were passing through a safe country on their way to the U.S. He claimed that “there’s nothing safe about” sending people back “to the very countries from which they are fleeing persecution.”

Mayorkas also asserted that the Biden administration has been sending a message discouraging children from trying to enter the U.S. right now “because we are rebuilding orderly processes for them as well, as the country always had until the prior administration.”

Why wouldn’t illegals flock to the US?

  • Biden has promised amnesty
  • Illegals will receive $4.4 billion in stimulus funds
  • Illegals are being housed in hotels while the national guard slept on the floor of a parking garage with one restroom and one electrical outlet
  • Illegals receive free medical care and schooling

There’s every reason for uneducated, illiterate people from around the world to come to the US and no reasons not to come.

The United States has been a country of immigrants, but until recently, it was an orderly process. Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas’ policies will destroy our country.

On a concrete surface, wasn’t it?

And there’s this. Check out the buses, OMG.
I am in San Marcos Texas for the weekend. Our hotel is right on I-35. There are buses and buses of immigrants that are being transferred to Dallas. I have seen the news story (which says they are teens), but seeing this in person is crazy. There are quiet a few state troopers escorting each caravan and the caravans are coming through so frequently all I had to do was sit on the side of the road to film it.

Here is my theory. Its based on evolutionary biology.

Women: Since time immortal they have been the care givers of the species. To be successful the trait of ‘here and now’ becomes dominant and futures less so. You won’t need to worry about picking berries for the clan a week from now if the kid dies for lack of attention today.
Men: Relieved of care giving ‘now and tomorrow’ become critical in order to assure that there is a successful hunt for days to come. The fancy word is strategy. But hell even today, weeks before the opening of hunting season the guys are out there scoping for trails, signs and food sources for the wild game.

Not much has changed in a million years. Our forebrain can still be overruled by our hindbrain at a moments notice.

They are getting paid that much still!? I would have expected less for the trash they put out.

It used to be a reporter stood outside watching the movers and shakers do their good and bad and opine on it. Then they got the crazy idea to be a mover and shaker too. (ie see Acosta do stand up reporting.) What they failed to realize that to operate in that milieu they had to compete with the current occupants. That means they have to as good (or bad) as them. Most are found wanting and hence the crappy salaries. The ones who can compete become swamp creatures in their own right. (ie WH comms)

Besides most journos learn their trade out of a book these days. The Pols they cover learned their trade by doing it in the field. On balance who ya think is gonna win? Yeah me too.

The Half Hour News Hour was great.

FNC did everything possible to ensure its demise because FNC doesn’t like production costs. Also, the show was too politically incorrect (as your clip) demonstrates. Some Saturdays it was scheduled and other Saturdays it wasn’t. And it seemed to have a different time slot every week it appeared.

It’s much cheaper to have 4-5 people sitting around talking. The same is true of CNN, which has an actual fake news team. CNN has much more talking heads than 10 years ago. FNC depends on local affiliates (e.g. Channel 2 in Detroit) for actual news reporting outside of DC.

Are we sure we want all out apple devices made in China?

For years, U.S. investigators found tampering in products made by Super Micro Computer Inc. The company says it was never told. Neither was the public.

“In 2010, the U.S. Department of Defense found thousands of its computer servers sending military network data to China—the result of code hidden in chips that handled the machines’ startup process.

In 2014, Intel Corp. discovered that an elite Chinese hacking group breached its network through a single server that downloaded malware from a supplier’s update site.

And in 2015, the Federal Bureau of Investigation warned multiple companies that Chinese operatives had concealed an extra chip loaded with backdoor code in one manufacturer’s servers.

Each of these distinct attacks had two things in common: China and Super Micro Computer Inc., a computer hardware maker in San Jose, California. They shared one other trait; U.S. spymasters discovered the manipulations but kept them largely secret as they tried to counter each one and learn more about China’s capabilities.”

““That was a huge security breach. We don’t have any idea how much data they got, but we had to take all those systems off the network.”

Three former U.S. officials confirmed Chieffalo’s description of an added chip on Lenovo motherboards. The episode was a warning to the U.S. government about altered hardware, they said.”

    drdog – #19 – good video.

Notice that his answer is increased population (home grown or IMMIGRATION).

The problem is not population. Growth is based on an increasing population (growth for growth sake through selling more stuff to more people), sounds like a ponzi scheme to me. At some point using this system you run out of room (food and natural resources).

I saw a video/article years ago that tied our growth and population increase to increasing DEBT. That there was a correlation between population growth and debt. And the conclusion was that when debt goes BUST, the population will face a rapid decline.

Government does not have the answer. Their answer is increased population. Look no further than Europe and the U.S. and massive immigration to try to keep the system a float. Look at Dent pushing immigration as a fix for Korea and Japan. Another push towards Universal Basic Income to keep up growth.

Government does not have the answer and never will. Society will survive, it has for thousands of years and will continue on. It might be a reset with a return to a more basic lifestyle but it will continue on.

Spot on about the growth angle. There is another factor involved too. The Fed has a preferred target of 2% inflation. Well that is another way of saying theft or loss of purchasing power. Under that guise it means every 50 years the fiat is all but worthless and we appear to be right on time if you use 1971 as the baseline. That is when we went off gold convertibility.

In my Tea Party days, we met with a couple of members of the Oathkeeper leadership cadre; they were speakers at a couple of events, IIRC. A fair number of the local Tea Party organizers whom I worked with were retired military. And frankly, the Oathkeepers looked to be … well, just ordinary and earnest common or garden-variety patriots with a background in the military and law enforcement.”

“It seems now that the words “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic” are those that give the heebie jeebies to the powers that be in the rickety and ramshackle structure that is the Biden Administration, and those sad and addled creatures who have the unenviable task of doing their media bidding … Seeing conservative activists being arrested for merely being in Washington on the day of the massive protest (commonly called a riot or insurrection by prog-leaning media and law enforcement) and held indefinitely without bail, while frequent-flyer Antifa/BLM rioters are on the catch-and-released-on-bail/charges dropped program, in spite of the year-long Antifa/BLM riots actually having done reckless damage to various cities. I presume that this difference is because the Antifa/BLM riots actually did substantial damage to ordinary flyover-country American property owners, whereas the Washington protest in January only scared the crap out of the Ruling Class.”

Seems more like Manafort the redux, where they had something they weren’t really willing to push originally but she pissed off or worried somebody too much after Epstine was iced that orders came down to put her in storage, and if they didn’t have the goods…well “since when has that stopped you”.

More on Kristi Noem’s horrendous decision:

As I said yesterday, CITI has a huge presence in South Dakota and she likely bowed to pressure from them. Not good. I have seen articles about her playing 4-dimensional chess, but don’t believe them.

NCAA Teams (that I know of) with players that have taken a knee:

Drexel, Colgate, Georgetown (entire team and coaching staff), Virginia Tech, Ohio State. There are likely more, but I am not aware of them.

Agree. She doesn’t want it (who would want to voluntarily live in DC?).
Plus, SD is a small state. She doesn’t pull in a big state. Opponents can argue she hasn’t faced the problems of big cities.

    Just the POTUS we need!:

    * Does not want the job. No Cesar, which is what the country expected.
    * No big cities. Well considering that the big cities are emptying out, she is qualified for the job.
    * Thinks CoVid is a joke.

    Did I miss anything? 🙂

drdog – Lynette Zang is good. I have followed some of her stuff over the years and she sticks to the fundamentals. Real good sound advice.
