1984 Has Arrived; 37 Years Late

COVID-19 has been a tragedy with millions who have died worldwide. But, an equally great tragedy was the way the mainstream media (television, radio and newspapers) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) were able to censor the news (particularly the theory that the virus leaked from the Wuhan Virology Lab – accidentally or purposefully).

The mainstream media embargoed coverage for several reasons: 1. to make Donald Trump look bad 2. a fear of discovering the truth; and for outlets like CNN, discovering the truth means having to bury the story, which often takes more effort than uncovering the truth. Several reporters and columnists are blaming Trump for the mainstream media’s dishonesty and laziness. Of course, PoliFact and other “fact checking agencies” did their part by labeling any discussion of a Wuhan Lab leak as totally false.

In social media, Jeff Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey set their army of radical brown shirt extremists into action – reviewing everyone’s posts, removing any threads discussing the possibility of a leak from the Wuhan lab and threatening permanent banishment for repeat offenders.

Of course Deep State did their part to cover everything up for fear that Americans would discover that their taxpayer dollars played a major role in unleashing COVID-19 on the world. Deep State worked with the World Health Organization and other groups to suppress discussion.

Something I never thought possible: I am recommending you read a Newsweek article about how this unfolded.

This presents a great opportunity for the Republican Party, if they are smart/brave enough to take advantage. This is the ideal time to wage an all-out war on the mainstream media and social media, illustrating the mainstream media cannot be trusted and that Facebook and Twitter should be broken up or regulated as a utility.

Can you say controlled opposition! As the Russians use to say back in the 1960’s, “Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum”, same coin just different sides.

Are people waking up, yes BUT enough? Don’t know and at this point don’t care. You yourself better get ready for what is coming (reset), because the only one who is going to save you is yourself and like minded family and friends. Like a tsunami, this is going to suck a lot of people out to sea and drown (because they are not ready for what is coming).

“This presents a great opportunity …”

Here’s a quote I saw this morning. No link was given, so maybe it’s fake news.
Dr. Fauci is one of the finest public servants we have ever had. He is not a partisan. His only interest is saving lives. We need his expertise and his judgment to defeat this virus. All Americans should be thanking him. Every day.”

I can just see it a few years from now (with the MSM complicit by not fact-checking the deflection).
Dem spokesman: “Fauci? Fauci ….. Oh yes. Wasn’t he an agency head during the Trump Admin? Wasn’t he defended by Repub leaders just before being sent to prison by the Dem Party?”

Nice title for the piece. The 37 years? Just a technical glitch. As I recall in ‘1984’ Big Brother controlled the populace by the omnipresent two way telescreen. We had to wait for mass adoption of the cellphone and various app resources to make it happen. The saving grace for OUR ‘Big Brother’ is that they by and large did not have to pay a dime for us to enslave ourselves. We did it by going down to the Apple store.

One aside that is relevant. I popped on to YT and what did I see? Why they will still pushing the CoVid-19 insert PSA. Rolling along like nothing has exploded about Fauci. Just push the narrative.

Saw on another forum where they were talking police and their video cameras. (This is your part drdog), how soon before they can use (video cameras) to monitor the police real time in what they are doing as well as the civilians around the police? Not only do they have surveillance cameras on poles & buildings but officers on the ground. Your thoughts drdog? How close are we?

As far as the technical we have all the relevant bits today. What is lacking is mission and budget. So for example:

    Scenario: Traffic stop.
Mission: Monitor the entire stop beginning to end. Video beamed directly to HQ as backup.
    Solution: Think Trunk Monkey drone.
    * Officer wears a coded tag.
    * In the trunk is a DJI drone pretasked to both ‘home’ and ‘follow me’ functions to the tag. Altitude set to 25′.
    * Drone has both normal and IR capable cameras.
    * Trunk is equipped to charge the drone when not in flight. At start of the stop officer presses button that pops the trunk and releasing the drone.
    * Entire scene is filmed beginning to end.

Now if you wanted to make the system a bit more ‘defensive’, imagine the officer could toss a tracer that sticks to the clothing somehow. The drone also is equipped with a taser assembly. Once the tracer is released the drone launches against the person and discharges the taser.

Sounds scifi but any $500 drone on the market can do the surveillance function just described. The addition of an IR camera is a trifle. More time would probably be spent designing the drone cradle and latching mechanism for the trunk than the drone itself. Can get more sophisticated using multiple drones as a swarm, remote override from HQ, etc.

This makes perfect sense but I hadn’t heard it before: paying Ransomeware doesn’t get your system back up immediately.

” … one thing we need to get into the debate about ransomware is that paying the ransom does not make the cost of recovery any cheaper. In the case of Colonial Pipeline, who paid $4m for the decryption tool, they still reverted to their backups to restore their systems. The HSE in Ireland who got the decryption tool for free had to use a third party tool to make it work effectively. In both cases the IR teams are still having to go to each individual machine, verify that it is clean, remediate it, recover data onto it, and then bring it online – this has to happen whether you have the decryption key or not. So paying for the decryption key is not a magic wand that gets all your systems back online overnight. You are still looking at weeks if not months of work to get large estates back up and running.”

Hypocrisy seems to be a requirement for being a CEO these days:

    * Delta and American Air Lines: Try boarding a flight without a photo ID
    * Bank of America and several other banks: Try opening an account or withdrawing cash without a photo ID
    * UPS: Try picking up a package or opening a P.O. Box at a UPS store without a photo ID
Home Depot: Try paying by check without a photo ID
Major League Baseball: photo IDs are required to pick up tickets at will call or to buy a beer if you look under 30

I could go on, but you get the picture.

FBI Director Christopher Wray was “ambushed” with the information, they say, and Langley was also unaware. Sources say DIA leadership kept the defector within their Clandestine Services network to prevent Langley and the State Department from accessing the person, whose existence was kept from other agencies because DIA leadership believes there are Chinese spies or sources inside the FBI, CIA, and several other federal agencies.

Indeed. When I was still with VZ after the Y2K thing we worked with our insurance carrier. Developed a special rider to cover attacks. First $100m was on us, deductible, they covered the rest. They also required we have a full scale security performance completed and yearly audits by an independent team of their choosing. Still it is the last thing you really want to have to rely on.

One of the labs we had developed a scheme where they can blow away the contents all the way to the hardware. An encrypted partition was the only thing left on the box. Issue a series of WMI commands and can lay down a virgin image all remote. At scale that would need one heck of a backup plan.

First drop in what I expect to be an overflowing bucket.
So far, Gavin Newsom, due to unconstitutional closing of churches has cost the taxpayers over $3.5 million. By the time the other churches, business, restaurants, out of work folks get their lawsuits finished the total could, and should be, in the hundreds of millions. Newsom unscientific, highly political actions were NOT based on science—but on the known lies of Anthony Fauci.
“The state of California has agreed not to impose greater coronavirus restrictions on church gatherings than it does on retail establishments in a pair of settlements that provide more than $2 million in fees to lawyers who challenged the rules as a violation of religious freedom.
