An EX-Marine

2021 September 30
by justrand

I enlisted in 1971, and was honorably discharged in 1979.  From the day of my discharge, until the crucifixion of Lt.Col. Scheller, I have always referred to myself as a “Former Marine”…as do most Marines no longer on active duty.  “Former Marine” is short for “Former ACTIVE DUTY Marine”. I.e., once a Marine, always a Marine.

From now on I am an EX-Marine.  And if the Marine Corps continues its destruction of one of the most honorable and praise worthy Marines in recent memory, Lt.Col. Scheller, I will stop even acknowledging I served in the Marine Corps.  I’ll mothball my Marine Corps ballcaps I wear all the time, and get some “FJB” hats to wear.

It won’t matter a damn bit, of course, to anyone but me.  Still, I think thousands (if not tens of thousands) of EX-Marines feel the same way, and will act in a similar fashion.

The destruction of Lt.Col. Scheller, and the demoralization of the Marine Corps are NOT accidents…they are purposeful.  The Left is intent on destroying the “Warrior Ethic” that Americans once were proud of, and what better place to start than the United States Marine Corps.

George Orwell once noted: “We sleep soundly in our beds, because rough men stand ready in the night to do violence on those who would harm us“.

We won’t be sleeping soundly in our beds much longer.

Sorry to make the post so personal…but I have been in contact with quite a few Veterans (Ex-Marines and others) who feel the same way.

The denigration of our military is in full swing. Lt.Col Scheller is just the “poster-child” for the effort. The message is clear: “If we can CRUSH an honorable and highly decorated warrior…we can CRUSH anyone”

    44, I don’t know if that’s a PRP kill shot.
    1) about 80% vaxxed, yes? Then if 71% of cases and 60% of hospitalizations are for vaxxed people, then they are below the vaxxed percentage
    2) on slide 7, I think they are talking cases not deaths?
They do agree that natural antibodies are the bees knees, so that’s useful to know.

    My top 3 puzzles are:
    1) why ignore natural antibodies? they just don’t want to talk about it
    2) why the violent suppression of therapeutics like HCQ, Ivermectin and others? they want to delay it by multi-year, double blind studies when there’s plenty of evidence of efficacy and no evidence of danger in using it. there’s no downside!
    3) why the desperate efforts to vaxx pregnant ladies and very young children? no long term data, no danger of Covid to kids, seems like madness to insist they be jabbed.

The entire, coordinated effort of censorship, hatred of the unvaxxed, ignoring obvious factual items … it just seems unlikely that they are the “good guys” in this conflict.

    Jim, 49,

Yes the 71% number is cases. The key number was the 60%. It means 40% are unvaxxed hospitalizations.

The other thing I suspect is the following. The 5.6m number is VA patients not the general population as a whole. I can’t imagine why the DoD would be doing such a study otherwise.

My local hospital had 100% unvaccinated only for the last 9 months. Entire floors of sick and dying unvaccinated covids.

It’s only in the past 1-2 weeks we are finally getting a small amount of vaccinated covids coming in sick, but none of them are significantly so. As in these are admissions are all on the weak end of the spectrum not the persons on airvo, on bipap, intubated etc.

I do agree that once you get enough months out either the immunity is starting to wane from the vaccine or delta is having some resistance.

Overall the vaccines remain highly effective.

#52 Define unvaccinated. Ask them if they consider anyone who is not 14 days out from shot #2 to be unvaccinated. If you catch Covid on day 13 post shot #2, is that an unvaxxed case?

Ya 14 days out from shot two, but the people admitted lately all got shots back in february so it’s a mute point.

As ive pointed out before if you think regeneron works then there is no reason you should doubt the vaccine. Regeneron was based on the vaccine’s mechanism of action: namely they are injecting monoclonal anti-spike antibodies (ideally has to be timed for early sickness within the first four days of sickness) vs the vaccine where you body produces anti-spike antibodies that you have all the time (like having circulating regeneron all the time)

Pollsters need to catch up, people are already polling with their feet.

Forget Regeneron. Why can’t folks be given the option of Ivermectin? HCQ? If the jab does not prevent infection, transmission, or death, how does it differ from a therapeutic except that therapeutics are less likely to give you heart problems, strokes, Bell’s palsy, Guillain-Barre, etc.

Easy way to know. When they are being admitted ask them were you vaccinated, when, how many shots.

The ER Doctors, the ER nurses and the admitting doctor all document this. For the past 9 months (minus the past 1-2 weeks) we have had virtually 100% unvaccinated admissions in my local hospital system.

And even the small amount of vaccinated admissions weve had in the past 2 weeks-they were weak/borderline admissions as in they werent that sick compared to most.
