Networks Ignore ClimateGate, Holdren Involvement

When is news not news? When it doesn’t fit the liberal agenda.

While the major TV News organizations (except FNC) continue to Ignore ClimateGate, it appears that Science Czar John Holdren may be deeply involved.

Yesterday Brian Williams delivered an NBC Nightly News report about President Obama attending the Copenhagen global warming summit. Guess what hot topic was left untouched? If you had guessed Climategate you would have been correct. Not only Williams but also the other TV networks, with the exception of FOX News, have completely ignored what is considered to be the biggest scientific scandal in history. However, new Climategate revelations made by the Canada Free Press about a White House connection to the scandal will soon make it much more difficult (and ridiculous) for the networks to ignore.

Lift up a rock and another snake comes slithering out from the ongoing University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) scandal, now riding as   “Climategate”.

Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal.  In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”.

    Climategate e-mails may be sweeping the US through Fox News and the internet, but the MSM is playing the “three monkeys” game of see-no-evil, hear-no-evil, and say-no-evil.

    The major news networks are treating this revelation like it is irrelevant. It reminds me of of how they viewed the ACORN tapes, by simply putting blindfolds over their eyes and getting on with the “other” news.

    It’s very frustrating to see how rigged the information networks really are!

    The following excerpt from Wizbang dovetails into the fact that peer review was squlched so that only a certain set of (manipulated) statistics could be publicized supporting an Al Gore globl warming POV.

    But the scientific method and the verification process of peer review were developed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries precisely to minimize, if not outright eliminate, the influence of politics, money, religious beliefs, and personality conflicts on the development of scientific discoveries. The process of peer review, whereby a scientist’s work is opened to a world-wide audience of experts for examination, was specifically designed to prevent scientists from forming “cliques” and deliberately excluding the work of others whose findings were in conflict with their own. The peer review method isn’t perfect of course, but it has done a credible job weeding out the majority of “new discoveries” that are in some way errant, while authenticating legitimate groundbreaking work.

    And that is what makes ClimateGate so disturbing.

    Journalism died about 50 years ago and has been repleced by propaganda. There are so many examples: Vietnam, Islam, cap and trade, Obama and Palin just to name a few.

    An agency of the New Zealand government has been cooking the books to create a warming trend where none exists, according to a joint research project by global warming skeptics at the Climate Conversation Group and the New Zealand Climate Science Coalition. The chief cook? Dr. Jim Salinger, considered one of the country’s top scientists, who began the graph in the 1980s when he was at the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in the UK. CRU, of course, has become ground zero of Climategate at Dr. Salinger has maintained close relations with CRU since, as seen in the Climategate emails.

    What do the uncooked books show? Rather than warming over the last hundred years, New Zealand’s temperature has been steady.

    Yes Virginia, there is climate change, unfortunately its all in academics heads!

    They all need to be hauled in front of Congress and questioned. That will happen when the MSM starts to write about it. So, that won’t happen.

    Eric S. Raymond (esr on the net) is the father of Open Source that has led to things like Linux. He has a interesting suggestion — Open Source all of it. The data, the programs, the adjustments, the papers. Every bit of it.

    The logic is with a billion eyes on it, errors become shallow and are quickly identified. Link.

    “Global Warming Science” is a misnomer since the bastards won’t show their work.
