CDC press release —

CDC and Texas Health Department Confirm First Ebola Case Diagnosed in the U.S.

Hospitalized patient had recently returned from West Africa; active contact tracing underway.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed today, through laboratory tests, the first case of Ebola to be diagnosed in the United States in a person who had traveled to Dallas, Texas from Liberia. The patient did not have symptoms when leaving West Africa, but developed symptoms approximately four days after arriving in the U.S. on Sept. 20.

The person fell ill on Sept. 24 and sought medical care at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on Sept. 26. After developing symptoms consistent with Ebola, he was admitted to hospital on Sept. 28. Based on the person’s travel history and symptoms, CDC recommended testing for Ebola. The medical facility isolated the patient and sent specimens for testing at CDC and at a Texas lab participating in the CDC’s Laboratory Response Network. CDC and the Texas Health Department reported the laboratory test results to the medical center to inform the patient. A CDC team is being dispatched to Dallas to assist with the investigation.

“Ebola can be scary. But there’s all the difference in the world between the U.S. and parts of Africa where Ebola is spreading. The United States has a strong health care system and public health professionals who will make sure this case does not threaten our communities,” said CDC Director, Dr. Tom Frieden, M.D., M.P.H. “While it is not impossible that there could be additional cases associated with this patient in the coming weeks, I have no doubt that we will contain this.”

The ill person did not exhibit symptoms of Ebola during the flights from West Africa and CDC does not recommend that people on the same commercial airline flights undergo monitoring, as Ebola is contagious only if the person is experiencing active symptoms. The person reported developing symptoms several days after the return flight. Anyone concerned about possible exposure may call CDC-Info at 800-CDC-INFO for more information.

There are already rumbles that the family might sue. The man lied to get here. That should terminate any procedureal challenges.

Had he survived, it probably would have motivated a lot more people with Ebola from around the world to come to the U.S. for free treatment.

BC, family is already thinking of suing the hospital and they now have Jesse Jackson involved as their spokesperson. So you know how this is going to go down.

So let me revise your statement —

Had he survived died, it probably would will have motivated a lot more people with Ebola from around the world to come to the U.S. for free treatment and to sue our asses off.

The guy who lied to get into our country and endanger thousands or,

The dog of the Spanish nurse who contracted Ebola while caring for a Priest?

some General (don’t remember his name) today provided the ‘Sum of All Fears’ scenario vis-a-vis Ebola: An outbreak in Central America

His contention, and I agree…STAMPEDE!!!!!!!!!! to America. The already overwhelmed and porous Southern border would EVAPORATE.

If that was the case, then the best tactical move for the US is to invade Mexico along its southern border and seal it off. It would be a hopeless cause at our southern border.

“Why don’t the Democrats say that? Why doesn’t the president say, instead of pandering to the Hispanic vote and liberals, why doesn’t he just say ‘You know what, I’m willing to strike a compromise. We need to get tough on illegal immigrants?’”

Hey Chris, Reagan did that. But you lying sack of shit democrats refused to follow up with the enforcement. Why should we trust you NOW when you have a President who can not tell the truth and will not keep his word.

    F#ck you!

You earn respect, given the actions of democrats over the years, Satan has a better track record.

“Disease pandemics are a dream come true for central planners. Hysterical over possible contagion, citizens clamor for government action, government quarantines, government coercion, and government planning. In these cases, large numbers of people want government to do what government does best: seize people and property, coerce, issue orders, and spend lots of money.

In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control presents itself as the answer to every pandemic. Nevermind the fact that the Federal government is an organization that mishandles live anthrax, has cross-contaminated benign bird flu with deadly bird flu, and then sends contaminated samples across the country.

And of course, the Feds, who apparently can’t keep disease samples contained, spend enormous amounts of money on making deadly diseases more deadly so as to weaponize them.

This organization, the same one that did such a stellar job with FEMA and the Hurricane Katrina “relief,” is the organization that will apparently save us from Ebola.

So, good luck to us all in surviving the US government’s war on pandemics.”

“The U.S. Government wants Ebola in America.

Why? It’s good for business, specifically the business of the global elites.

It’s no secret the one-percent who rule the world want the global population reduced. It’s also no secret big pharma makes big money off pandemics. And apparently Big Academia can make money too. How convenient Dallas Patient Zero wound up in Texas where Texas A & M says it can serve as a potential mass-production center for ZMapp Ebola Drug.

And big government can use Ebola as a ripe excuse to start using those FEMA camps.

And the U.S. Government can use Ebola as a convenient excuse to invade Africa under the long-used guise of a humanitarian mission. It’s a win-win for global elites and the U.S. government and lose-lose for the rest of us, the mundanes put at risk of death. Rahm Emanuel must be a soothsayer as he once said, “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

The U.S. Government cares about the health and well-being of our military about as much as it cares for the health and well-being of Africans (which is not much) so it’s is sending 3,000 American military personnel to West Africa into harm’s way to help deal with the outbreak.

Then again maybe the U.S. Government is obligated to help clean up a mess it may have caused if you put stock in reports of black ops carried out by the American government in Africa. This very well might be a false flag incident either going exactly as planned or going awry.”

Right now it is Thursday in every part of the United States. You really can trust me on this.

However, if ANY agency of, or person within the U.S. Government were to tell me “Right now it is Thursday in every part of the United States I would immediately be suspect.

I trust ZERO, NADA, NOTHING coming from any part of this Regime anymore.

p.s. if any agency of, or person within the U.S. Government were to tell me “Right now it is Thursday in every part of the United States, it might actually BE ‘Thursday’ at that point…but the only reason they would be telling me the truth is that at that particular moment they had no reason to lie. If it was expedient for them to NOT tell me the truth, they would tell me it was “Wednesday”..or whatever day they wanted me to think it was.

    Governmental credibility? NONE!

well, since there are 57 States (per our Lordship), I guess I better revise my statement! 🙂

the really tragic part of utter lack of credibility of the Obama Regime, is when we need to be able to rely on the FEDERAL government doing it’s ONE BASIC JOB: Protecting our Homeland…we CANNOT rely on them to do so.

With ISIS reportedly crossing our Southern border, and Ebola confirmed here NOW, Obama and his diseased Regime continue to screech: “Global Warming CLIMATE CHANGE is T-H-E biggest threat America faces”

Just read what streets to avoid in LA today and had a nice chuckle. For being a champion of the poor, the won can’t even bother to drive through or near any areas where he might encounter someone making less than 1mil a year. Haha don’t get me wrong, I’m glad I won’t be anywhere near him, but it’s still pretty funny.

JM, the reality is that once people reach the U.S. they can travel domestically and NO record of their previous travel is checked (i.e. there’s no Customs to go through)

Like EVERY other thing associated with the Obama Regime, the emphasis is on TAMPING THINGS DOWN…keeping the Sheeple mewing on the hillside…and keeping Democrats in power.

So the Sheeple must NEVER be told the truth about:
    – Ebola
    – the Economy
    – ISLAMIC terrorism
    – the decline of our military coupled with the RISE of China
    – the VAST intrusion of EVERY government agency in EVERY aspect of our lives
    – etc…

Sheeple are soooooo much easier to sheer & eat when they’re oblivious
