Matt Drudge of the influential Drudge Report news aggregation site expressed discontent over a federal spending bill that passed with votes from both Republicans and Democrats in the House.

The $1.1 trillion spending bill that runs through September 2015 is now up for a vote in the Democratically-led Senate. Many conservatives, including Drudge, are upset that the bill funds both Obamacare and President Obama’s immigration executive orders.

“Obama got EVERYTHING,” Drudge tweeted Friday. “NSA dirt on Boehner must be incredible. Chicago wins.”

Why not? Its how Chicago works.

Think the NSA figured out that Boehner is a drunk?

If there’s anyone I would like to see taken down, it’s Boehner. Seeing him forced to resign in disgrace would bea dream come true.

this is utterly believable in the Age of Obama

but I’m not sure it takes “blackmail” to make Boehner (a) stooopid and (b) spineless

he does both those pretty well 24×7

one more add…say what you will about Piglosi (and we did and do) she WAS an amazingly effective BITCH as Speaker in terms of running the House with an iron fist, and ramming through EVERYTHING the Left wanted.

Yes, her actions were demonstrably disastrous for the U.S., but they were 100% Party line for the Dems/Left.

Boehner is so desperate to get invited to play golf with Obammy again, he’ll do ANYTHING Obammy wants…with or without “pressure” from the NSA

We have a President, VP and House speaker who are the three most powerful people in this country. And if anyone thinks any of these three care what the conservative people care about must be totally out of touch. Bonehead has just created this power base between (D) and RINOS on this vote so from now on it will ?tough? talk and tons of programs pushed through building a bigger government. Control of internet, control of guns, more border crossings, etc, etc, etc. Boy it is going to be ugly from here on in.

Indy & bc3b (et al)…any living organism, all the way down to bacteria, has as its FIRST priority its own survival, followed closely by the survival of its species.

Our bloated, and burgeoning Federal government functions the exact same way.

The Dem/GOP Reps & Senators seek FIRST their own political survival…followed closely by the survival of their species: BUREAUCRATS

the BUREAUCRATS species has two sub-species (which freely inter-breed): Leftists and Opportunists

The Leftists seek POWER in order to bend all others to their will for the “good of the people”…monetary and other gains follow, of course

Opportunists seek POWER specifically for those monetary and other gains, and for the power and prestige itself.

It is for that reason alone that I prefer the Opportunists…for they may (occasionally) get sated enough to take a day off…giving us a day off as well.

The Leftists are NEVER sated…for dominating us “for our own good” is their only religion, and they are devoted.

I fear the Leftists, I loath the Opportunists…our Founders did as well and thought they had constructed a cage to contain them. *sigh*

“We have a President, VP and House speaker who are the three most powerful people in this country.” — Indy

And that my friend IS the first problem. YOU should be the most powerful person in the country, as well as the rest of the body politic. Those three scums should be an after thought you worry about only sporadically.

When House Speaker John Boehner campaigned for the leadership job years ago, he vowed to give members at least 72 hours to read any bill before a vote. Back in 2010, the speaker said he didn’t think “having 2,000-page bills on the House floor serves anyone’s best interest — not the House, not for the members and certainly not for the American people.”

But that was before Mr. Boehner decided the highly flawed CRomnibus — with full funding for the budget-breaking Obamacare; for President Obama’s new amnesty program for more than 4 million illegal aliens; even for Michelle Obama’s disastrous school lunch program — simply had to pass.

    Germany burning?

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-30478321

2 interesting quotes over on AR15 about the above article. Americans and Europeans are both beginning to go nativists because of all these foreign nationals and what they are doing to their countries. I believe it will not end well.

    1. With each new act of terror committed by the ROPers, you are going to see more and more of this type of thing. Westerners are getting tired of taking in these people only to have them turn around and murder their countrymen by way of various heinous acts. I’m not saying it is right. But if these guys keep this kind of shit up, Muslims are going to become an endangered species in many western countries.

    2. BTW, there was a talk at the Pritzker Military Library about the subject of Islam in Europe. The speaker warned that if things kept on their present direction, the Europeans will present a backlash that, if European traditions are followed, will result in blood running in the streets. The speaker speculated whether the US military would become involved in an evacuation to move the immigrants now turned emigrants back to Africa/Middle East.

If the U.S. got involved it would be to offer them asylum over here.

    GN,

I would suggest that UKIP in Britian will eventually take the same stand in that country. Here in this country? We have no one taking our case to the Pols. WBF.

drdog – it is not the pols but the people. That is what is going on in Europe. It is the people who are pissed about what has happened there. I believe the pols here are like those in Europe – tone deaf to what the people want.

Meanwhile, the Taliban kills 126 students in Pakistan, and an Islamic cleric terrorizes a Sydney coffee shop, and the minimization of the military continues unabated. Obama gives not one whit about the potential, nay the certainty, of terror attacks on this country. In fact, he welcomes it.

As RP says, “come quickly Lord Jesus.”

It seems we cannot save ourselves.

I loved the Red/Blue story in #20…of course, the Left would re-write it to have the Blue nation saved by re-distributing ALL wealth (with exceptions for some “Elites”, of course), and thus ushering in a Worker’s Paradise! The Left never has understood that redistributing wealth is EXACTLY like eating your seed corn. It fills you up NOW…so you can starve LATER.
