Dear Liberals …

2016 November 13
by drdog09

… We The People just made the entire country a ‘Safe Place’.

Rather than marching off in protests that will have no effect at all; try talking to some of us. Here are some of the things you will find —

* Most of us just want to be left alone. Our safe place is home with family and friends. We wish you the same.

* We are not Xenophobic. We treat the world as we see it. What a person is capable of is more important to us than the color of their skin. If we were xenophobic than explain why Rubio won, keeping in mind he has to win the entire state not just the cuban community.

* We are not racists. I would suggest to you that there are more mixed marriages among Trump-like supporters than your own peer group. Liberals talk a big game, but don’t follow thru.

* We are not going to run out and start shooting Gays and Lesbians. What you do in your bedroom is your own affair. We may not approve of your life choice, but tough, we have faced bigger challenges than this. We might suggest a little discretion if for nothing else for the kids sake.

* Yes we are going to deport illegal criminals like MS13 gangs. They are menaces to the community and do not belong here. You want a ‘safe place’ they need to be gone. The only thing that will prevent them from coming back is a wall. That needs to be built too.

* Yes Muslims may be prevented from coming to this country. But again if you want a ‘safe place’ the first thing you need to do is determine that the people coming in have been vetted and are not a terror threat.

Its time to grow up snowflakes. We the generations before did not get everything we wanted. Not even twinkle stars and unicorns. Those are for fairy tales. The real world demands you be of sterner stuff. Best you learn that now rather than later. Put away your Sesame Street and coloring books and face the world as it is. It will be staring you in the face no matter what you do.

Can we just enjoy that for a minute. 🙂

“Hailed by diplomats as a chance to “send a signal of what the EU expects” from Mr Trump”

Good for some more laughs itself.
Adding on that Trump sent his own subtle message via an hour or so with Farage…master trolling on both their parts.

Mrs Boz and I were talking over coffee this morning, still basking in the glow of the stay of execution our republic just received. The stunning defeats of the Democrats on so many levels, and the damage that was inflicted upon them is still difficult to believe, especially when juxtaposed with what most of the country expected the exact opposite.

Then we started talking about Reince Priebus and the fact that must look like a genius, even though he didn’t really orchestrate any of this. I know a woman who was a sales rep for Ty Inc., the maker of Beanie Babies. She was a 26 year old territory sales rep covering 1/4 of the country when the company was a sleepy little novelty toy firm, and suddenly the Beanie Baby fad hit like a tsunami. Her commissions structure didn’t anticipate any of this, and to make a long story short, her annual bonus that one year was in excess of $6mm…after taxes. This is what Reince Priebus must have felt like on Wednesday morning. The result just happened, without anything of his doing, and he was just the lucky guy in the right place at the right time.

So, then we started discussing who the whole thing happened, from the start when Trump was one of many candidates vying for the nomination, and seemingly with “snowball in hell” chances. We talked about the fact that everything, including Tuesday night’s results just manifested without any “evil genius” inspired, carefully laid and perfectly executed plans. Trump, the Senate, the House, all the Governorships, all of it. It wasn’t manipulated into being, it just sort of happened…organically. This truly was a will of the people event. Trump and We The People (David) with a sling and a rock, up against a seemingly invincible Clinton crime syndicate, the entire Washington establishment machine, the elites, the donor class, the media, Hollywood, and Soros and his ilk.

This just happened! We are in power again…and not GOP we…We The People!

  8. 2016 November 14 6:54 am

    10 – Yup.
Look I can’t say I’ve never discussed the topic, we have here before but it was more a what-if it happened or when would the powers that be do it. This guy was stupid, he made multiple direct and specific “i am going to do x” type statements, and then told the SS to “bring it”. Sorry but that’s someone who you make an example out of like that moron in CT, and this is a perfect time to make a high-profile showing of it to at least get some of the fools to think twice – if nothing but for their own asses.

JR # 16 – “so the CEO nutjob that KH & JBoz were talking about doesn’t target you too!”

I don’t think he’s going to be targeting anyone anytime soon. Assuming he isn’t already in custody, I would guess that he is huddled up with his attorney and has changed his underwear 2 or 3 times already today. His attorney may even be telling him to turn himself in so as to lessen the severity of his punishment. This was a crime, and wasn’t even ambiguous. As far as the “I was joking..” defense, right now every tweet, every Facebook post, every email is being analyzed. His best case scenario is that he somehow avoids prison, but he’s out of a job, terminated for cause and probably loses various forms of deferred compensation, incentive based equity, etc., plus his existing personal net worth will take a massive hit with legal fees. It’s a relatively small company, so the CEO role isn’t like 8 figures…probably isn’t even 7 figures. If his net worth is less than $2mm, he’s going to lose the majority of it. Again, this is assuming that he somehow avoids a felony conviction and prison time.

In 1776 General Burgoyne used these words to describe the American troops he faced at Boston:
“A rabble in arms, flushed with success and insolence.”
Roughly a year later that “rabble in arms” would defeat Burgoyne at the battle of Saratoga…one of the most pivotal battles in human history. Burgoyne intended to march South through New York and all the way to Virginia, splitting the Colonies and ending the war.
Although the British did face soldiers of the newly founded American army along the way, the bulk of Americans facing Burgoyne as his army marched South were regular citizens…some militia, but mostly just farmers and their families. Men, women and children…many armed with pitchforks and unreliable muskets… ultimately surrounded Burgoyne at Saratoga..and forced his surrender.
For the last 2 years the media, Hollywood “Elites”, and the entire Democrat Party sneered at the “rabble” supporting Donald Trump. One Democrat (can’t remember who 🙂 ) even called them “DEPLORABLE”.
On November 8, 2016, the “rabble” surrounded the modern day Burgoyne (Hillary Clinton). Her reaction and that of those who supported her, especially the media, was very similar to what Burgoyne is said to have uttered after his surrender:

“How did it come to this?”

Bolton to radicalize the Trump administration

dministration is already going full swing – and he isn’t even President yet.
The battle lines are being drawn over the office of Secretary of State, and anti-internationalist and non-interventionists in the Trump coalition are angry that former UN Ambassador John Bolton is even being considered. Bolton was an early supporter of the Project for a New American Century, the neoconservative outfit that brought us the Iraq war, and he’s been endorsed by National Review – a neocon mouthpiece that actively campaigned against Trump. His hostility to Russia, which he believes must be subjected to “pain,” flies in the face of Trump’s stated intention to “get along” with Russia.
Here’s how you can stop the Bolton nomination from getting off the ground. The Trump transition team is asking for input from the public. If you have a Twitter account, you can tweet your opposition to Bolton by directing your tweet at @transition2017.

I suppose it is natural for any of Trump’s picks to be put under the microscope, but I don’t recall obama’s choices getting the third degree. Only when Van Jones, a self-avowed communist, was selected for green jobs czar did Obama jump the shark and get pushback.

I personally would give Trump, at least on this board, a lot of leeway on his choices. He has to move the government a fair distance back across the political spectrum, and has to draw from a pool with some decent experience. He cannot fill the roster completely with newbies, nor can he draw totally from the prior Bush Administration.

    PepsiCo Consumer Relations blames MS<

    Dear XXXXXX,

    Thank you for writing.

One of the truths that emerged from this election is that the mainstream media often fails to present a straightforward account of current events. Unfortunately, the coverage of Ms. Nooyi’s recent comments reflects this.

Some media outlets chose to present her remarks in a fashion that captured neither the spirit of her message nor the context in which they were given.

For example, you would never know from the headlines that the very first thing she did when the topic of the election came up was to congratulate the President-elect Trump. She also highlighted three primary points of his agenda. The following are excerpts from the discussion that provide a more complete view of her statements.

“First of all, I want to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump.”
“We will all come together and unify the country.”
“At some point, we’re going to have to pick up the big issues of technological unemployment, global trade, immigration — all of which needs reform.”

Separately, the morning after the election, Ms. Nooyi sent a letter to PepsiCo employees making the following points:

“Yesterday, across this country, Americans turned out in record numbers to make their voices heard. I want to congratulate President-elect Donald Trump on his victory, and I wish him all the best as he begins the work of stewarding this country in the months and years ahead.”

“I do hope that starting today, we can begin the process of healing, the process of overcoming the divisions that have been exposed during this campaign. I hope that starting today, we can refocus on the work of forging a partnership with one another to build our common future.”

“We are, first and foremost, Americans. We are, first and foremost, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, who want a better life for ourselves and our families.

And the only way of ushering in that better life, the only way of moving forward as a country, is by walking together, hand-in-hand.”

The coverage by mainstream media, while it may have made for clickable headlines, misrepresented Ms. Nooyi’s views.

Thanks again for writing. I hope this further information is helpful.

49/50 – Trolling. Meanwhile insiders say Rudy is more likely the pick. These Bolton posts read insane to me. You don’t like him, I get it, even if he is the pick it aint the end of the world, suggesting so this early sounds unhinged.

I did watch Tuckers first show, it was ok. As for him at least he understood what was going on by last November’ish even if he had been part of the problem he at least wasn’t blind to the results. He tried to warn the ‘elites’ early on, they didn’t listen. He got a tv show out of it all though. 😉

    71) What he said was accurate – they themselves DONT have the range, that they’ve tried to work around that problem with Saudi help (requiring Saudi permission) doesn’t make what he said not true.

75 – If it was, you sure took the bait. lol
You have to keep in mind lots of names will leak as being considered for lots of things, some will be true, some will be trial balloons, some will be straight disinformation, some will be to make certain individuals “feel good” about themselves being considered, more still will be str8 lies from people disconnected from admin – like #neverfuckers suggesting the twit from NH for sec def is being considered, or that cruz is possible choice for scotus – it’s all bs.

81 – That’s like saying Hillary congratulated Donald as well. Fuck them.

85 – Agree marginally better, but he’s getting up there in age, it would be term 1 only I think, he’s been looking tired – then again maybe it’s cause he’s been on the campaign trail for 5 months nonstop. Could be Rudy SoS and John deputy SoS as his eventual replacement if needed. Might make a good team like that.

Be great if Laura takes it, if she does everyone needs to give her props for giving up a radio show, a website, 3 kids and 8 figures a year, to do so, not many people would do that, and I don’t blame her if she doesn’t.
