A Unique Defense of the Second Amendment

When nuclear arms are solely in the hands of State actors one could make the claim that nukes as a 2nd Amendment issue is not on the table as it is not a ‘conventional armament’. Hence issues related to the 2nd Amendment are in their own sphere.

Now consider the video above. It is a conventional armament but based on the swarm technology IS a WMD. The video makes the argument a bot will be a precision assault weapon. Fact is a bot swarm could be very indiscriminate, just hitting any human target it first identifies on purpose. See —

That fact enters the 2nd Amendment debate in two ways:

* Targeting does not have to be precise to be effective.
* The outcome is independent of human intervention.

Another words in the overall scheme of things a gun is a less dangerous killing tool. It requires a definitive level of skill to operate, especially at long ranges. Targeting has to be generally precise as your first shot is your best shot for after that the element of surprise is lost. Since the projectile is not ‘smart’ an indiscriminate spraying of the target zone though useful for suppression is not as effective as many think from the movies.

Simply put — would you rather have a swam of 60 killer bots chasing the kids or a lone gunman with a AR-15? Choose wisely.

Swarm tech does not have to be sophisticated to be operable — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1t4M2XnIhI

By the way swarm tech will also destroy two memes of the Left:

    1) Motive. A swarm has no motive, it runs a program. Now we know that there can be a motive about the programming but I don’t think Leftists think in those dimensions.

    2) Gun as crime. The kind of tech presented here will force individuals to confront the ‘who’ not the ‘what’. Since it might very well be possible to weaponize everyday objects the ‘gun’ no longer is unique as a lever for assault and murder.

    From Breitbart:

Beverly Nelson claims that Moore used to compliment her on her looks and that he signed her yearbook in 1977 sometime just before Christmas.

Anyone ever hear of a high school yearbook being distributed before Christmas?

    Yay.

    http://donsurber.blogspot.com/2017/11/speeding-deportations.html
“Presidents Bush 41 and 43, Clinton, and Obama were clever. They created a backlog of immigration deportation cases by not appointing enough judges to hear the cases.
More than 600,000 illegal aliens are enjoying a de facto two-year visa as it now takes 672 days on average to deport them.”
    And
“Sessions told the House Judiciary Committee that the backlog has barely grown during the past two to three months as a result of 50 additional immigration judges who have started working since President Donald Trump took office.
Sessions said the Department of Justice has shortened the time for hiring new judges and hopes to bring an additional 360 to 370 on board.
That’s more than double the 334 Obama left us with when we finally ended his pathetic presidency.”

Conclusion: “This is part of the plan to erase our border. If you are here illegally and are caught, we will wait a couple of years before deporting you because we have a shortage of judges, a shortage created by presidents who want a backlog so they can throw up their hands and say there is nothing we can do but grant amnesty.

    President Trump is ending that.”

They ARE eating their own — https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/nov/16/hillary-voters-turn-bill-clinton-say-accusations-a/ — voters are lumping Bubba in the same bucket as Frankin and Moore.

Hey you know what? If we can take down 3-4 Leftists for 1 Moore sacrifice I will chalk that up as a win. Funny how Leftists seldom do the consequences calculus.

the Consumer Financial Protection Board was Senator Warren’s idea (so she could run it and impose her twisted priorities on everything that touches money or consumers). It does not need Congressional authorization for its budget. It nominally is independent of the President (by law he can’t fire the head, Supreme Court ruling pending). The CFPB head is a law to itself, no board or accountability of any kind. It creates regulations on things like what you can invest in in your retirement account. Not is the perfect Obama / prog land mine for the future.

The head, Richard Cordray (a prog asshole commie bastard) just retired early.

Trump responded by appointing the CFPB’s biggest critic (OMB Chief Mulvaney) as interim head of CFPB. Mulvaney can do whatever he wants. Congress can’t do shit. Warren created all this power, now her worst enemy wields it.
    This is awesome!

    KH, 14,

Its possible. But consider. For all intents Bubba is the king on the chess board. The foundation He and Bitch operated funded the DNC the last two years. He goes down the funds to the DNC I suggest will evaporate. There are forces in the party that want to ditch the Clintons but if they do their funding base is going to shrink.

Deplorable Don Surber mocks the press over the downfall of ISIS.

“General Mattis last week told NATO, “95% of the territory once held by ISIS is now liberated” … The demise of the Islamic State and the liberation of Mosul, Raqqa and other cities is on par with the accomplishments by the Greatest Generation in World War II. … And our media ignores this story.”

drdog, that Ann Coulter article is 100% spot on.

all the Democrats need to do is bring in new dirt-poor uneducated immigrants at a faster pace than they, the Democrats, are pissing off American citizens and they will never lose again.

The Donald Trump election was an aberration, we may never see another

I had to look it up to be sure of what the author says in the article…but it is true, Chicago now charges juveniles who car-jack with a misdemeanor…even if they use a gun. A fu@king misdemeanor.

Drdog: “If ye be not mad, ye be dead”

we be mad…but we be powerless.

Donald Trump was our ONLY chance to say “Fu@k You!” to the Establishment in the last 30 years. We may not get another.

As I’ve said before, we are constrained (read: CHAINED) by several things:
1…Mandatory Tax Withholding, which prevents a Taxpayer revolt, or even protest.
2…We’re law abiding citizens…and thus the government at every level knows they can threaten us into silence, if not compliance, because they can (and DO) make new laws at any time to target us and make us “criminals”. Then they can selectively prosecute us!

    Etc…

BUT, if things continue as they are, the calculus that constrains us may change. We’ll see…
