Down the Rabbit Hole

South Africa has officially taken another step along the pathway that became inevitable when Apartheid was abandoned in the absence of a viable alternative. The socialist thugs in charge have not even finished amending the constitution to explicitly permit expropriation of white property without compensation, yet they are already seizing farms:

Government has begun unilaterally expropriating farms against which land claims have been lodged and where price negotiations with owners have stalled.

Two game farms in Limpopo appear to be the first properties that will be expropriated without following a court process.

Not even farms that have been in the family for centuries will be immune from ludicrous land claims. If you won’t accept the pittance the government offers for the land, then you get nothing. Soon the government won’t even offer the pittance, although it may offer not to kill you if you abandon your property quickly.

The next steps are within sight: whites are killed or driven out, their confiscated farms lay fallow, the economy collapses, starvation ensues, the government offers whites their land back but by then it’s too late. Zimbabwe, erstwhile Breadbasket of Africa when it was known as Rhodesia, has established the template.

South Africa is heading down the same road that Zimbabwe experienced no less than a decade a go. Land will be seized and handed to a crony, the expectation that thanks to the ‘magic dust’ the Whites knew about for that land nothing but success is assured. 2,3,4 years in a row the land degrades, pumps are not maintained, equipment goes to rot the farm eventually fails as a consequence. Farms in the droves are abandoned where once wheat bloomed. The mines and the factories face a similar fate. Whites have been driven out of the country. Unemployment and hunger stalk the land. Cries for aid ensue.

Little we Americans can do to redirect the situation remotely. However we can raise a stink that no US monies be sent as foreign aid to a country that is committing hari kari. To lend a hand under those circumstances is to feed the hand that bites — socialism.

For the article in JR’s last post, previous thread….

    Psalm Trump

Trump is my weapon: I shall not want.
He maketh the sloven to lie down in disbelief: he leadeth us beside the still waters.
He restoreth my profit: he leadeth us in the paths of industry for the sake of our families.
Yea, though he walks through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Trump art with me; his Tweets and his Staff they comfort me.
I preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Trump anointest my country with oil; my 1040 runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow him all the days of my life: and I will dwell in my house and that of the LORD for ever.

Were I to be disappointed in Trump, of all of them the whole Cohen-Daniels fiasco is tops. Not that he did it, but that he tried to hide it. He should have just wrote the check himself, winked at the camera and said ‘for services rendered’. We all know he is a scoundrel its part of his appeal. The voting male population would be doing fist bumps. The voting female population? ‘If it will get that man of mine back at the mill I am pulling the lever. He’s driving me crazy!’

Drdog, your comment #2 above is spot on. Using Cohen in the first place for ANYTHING is Trump’s other real “crime”.

The reason no one ever flips on the Clintons: they wind up DEAD. Everyone knows this…and thus omertà is preserved.

The legal gymnastics being done by the Dems/media/Left on calling the payoffs a “campaign contribution” are pretty amazing. But since every politician knows that ONLY Trump will ever be gone after in this way, this type of “campaign contribution” will continue as it always has.

Good article below on this subject:
