Or, You Nuts? Those Are the Dudes Making All the Food!

The largest ethnic group in South Africa, Zulu, has spoken out against the expropriation of land without compensation in the country. Zulu is ready to cooperate with the country’s white farmers, known as Afrikaners or Boers.
Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini has said the group will cooperate with South African minority rights group AfriForum.

“The Zulu nation I’m talking about will not exist if we don’t have food. That’s why I say farmers must come closer so that we discuss what we can do when we talk about agriculture and the availability of enough food in the land. That’s why I’m asking AfriForum of the Boers to come and help us,” Zwelithini said, as quoted by eNews Channel Africa.

“Because when government started talking about the appropriation of land, expropriation without compensation, Boers downed tools. There is no food in South Africa,” he added.

Zulu people are the largest ethnic group in South Africa, with an estimated 10-12 million people living mainly in the province of KwaZulu-Natal. The group accounts for more than a fifth of the country’s population and its opinion is important in the context of the general elections next year.

Sort of odd bedfellows. The Zulus themselves are not an SA indigenous population. They came from the North territories and appropriated stretches of empty land themselves. Then, when the Boers came they sold parcels. The Brits, the late comers, were the ones who had the problem with the Zulus, not the Boers.

Will it stop the white genocide? Hard to tell. But a Zulu – Boer alliance would be the equivalent of the Independents joining the Republican party en-mass here in the US. Be something to watch.

Well, I wasn’t gonna stop watching it anyway. 🙂

I watch it about once a year because it reminds me what it’s like to be a Conservative in Kalifornia.

    6,

Typical Prog thinking. They think they can just pass a law and eliminate the EC. Won’t work that way. They have to convince 38 States to agree. That’s a whole different kettle of fish to achieve.

Only a single data point but a Dem recalibrates (h/t Instapundit).

Like most Democrats, I reacted to the stunning 2016 election of Donald Trump with a combination of confusion and dread. After all, Hillary Clinton was the favorite and, to Democrats like me, a Trump victory seemed to portend certain economic disaster, nuclear war, and pretty much the end of America as we knew it.

But now nearly two years into his administration, Trump has presided over a “winning streak” that includes a booming economy and stock market, an unemployment level at a nearly 50-year low, two Supreme Court appointments, no new foreign wars or domestic terrorist attacks emanating from abroad, a significant degree of progress on trade relations with Canada and Mexico, a “needed reset” on the China relationship, and the prospect of peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Perhaps it is time that even his opponents reconsider Trump.

OP: Yes it is interesting (hey at least the aren’t denying the reality of where most of the food comes from), thanks for posting, had missed it in my news travels, don’t know if it’ll actually change anything in terms of stopping all the insanity, but it’s something to watch.
