If It Seems Liked the Left Hates America …

… it’s because they do.

It’s so obvious. When you compare Donald Trump’s rallies to those of Democratic candidates, Trump’s rallies are upbeat. He discusses the country’s problems, but also focuses on why the United States is the greatest country in the history of the world. Democratic rallies, on the other hand, are very dour and depressing.

Democratic presidential candidates only discuss how the United States is an evil place. They talk about how it’s racissst … how we don’t take care of the poor … how we mistreat illegal aliens … that we don’t totally capitulate to the LGBTQ+++ agenda. Bernie Sanders even goes so far as to compare the US unfavorably to communist paradises like Cuba and the former Soviet Union.

Ever hear a Democrat extol the virtues of this country? About as often as they support abortion restrictions.

But, nowhere is it more obvious than when the left and their cheerleaders in the media wish harm on the American people in an attempt to take down the President. We have seen it since – and even before – inauguration day. Democrats and the media have been wanting to tank the economy, without regard to the long-term effect it would have on the country and its people – losing jobs, losing homes, etc.

That’s why the Democrats and the media can barely contain their joy over Corona Virus 19. Dishonest bureaucrats, like Rod Rosenstein’s sister, are working non-stop to spread gloom and doom. Corona Virus 19 has been able to do something nothing else has – slow the stock market (hopefully temporarily).

You can bet on one thing – the Democratic presidential candidates, people like Pelosi, Schumer and Nadler and the media are over the top.

I was thinking of posting a photo of Pelosi, but opted for Miss Ukraine instead.

    JimNorCal –

Prediction: this will keep coming up.

The investment marks the largest voter engagement and turnout operation in the history of the Service Employees International Union,

The union’s campaign will span 40 states and target 6 million voters focused largely in Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin, according to details of the plan shared with The Associated Press. The union and its local members will pay particular attention to two key urban battlegrounds they believe will play a defining role in the 2020 general election: Detroit and Milwaukee.

Voters in Florida, Michigan and Colorado are threatening to sue their states after an independent organization discovered that each has counties with unusually high voter registration rates — in some cases, they found more registered voters than actual people eligible to vote.

The organization’s findings revealed that 27 counties in Florida have voter registration rates above 90 percent, well above the national average, and seven counties with rates higher than 100 percent. Michigan had 18 counties above 90 percent and one above 100 percent, and Colorado had 19 above 90 percent and five above 100 percent, the group said.

In the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton won Colorado by a relatively slim margin of 2.8 percent. President Trump won Florida by 1.3 percent, and Michigan by just 0.4 percent.

A Wisconsin court recently put that state’s voter roll purge on hold, as opponents argued the effort targeted voters in Democratic areas in a bid to suppress turnout.

The American Civil Liberties Union says cleaning up voter rolls can be a responsible exercise but some states have used it as “a method of mass disenfranchisement, purging eligible voters from rolls for illegitimate reasons or based on inaccurate data, and often without adequate notice to the voters.”

Thy brain engaged, they voter reg card in hand, thy butt in line on a single day, thy hand on a paper ballot, thy marks thereupon, thy leaveth. News at 11 a week from now on the whole event.

This government functioned just fine for half of its existence not knowing who would be president for at least several weeks after the polling was done. Can we not do as well? This instant-results-and-analysis bs is killing us.

It’s interesting how well Biden is polling in South Carolina (the only state so far with a large black population) versus Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada.

Could it be that the other candidates have limited appeal to blacks, a demographic the Democrats need to win?

Will Slow Joe do as well in South Carolina as the polls predict? Tune in to BJG tomorrow night to find out.

Tom Steyer reportedly spend $23 million on South Carolina campaign:

That’s $4.62 for every man, woman, child or whatever in South Carolina.

In the 2016 Democratic presidential primary, voter turnout was just over half of what it was in 2008 with only 12.52% of registered voters casting their ballots. South Carolina Democratic Party Chair Trav Robertson said he hopes to see 300,000 to 500,000 votes cast.

Hat tip: CBS News. Let’s split the difference and go with 400,000. That’s $59 per Democratic voter. If Steyer pulls 15% (as expected), that’s 60,000 votes or $393.33 per vote.

Thank God for calculators and Excel.

A St. Louis woman was robbed, beaten and stabbedby her 15-year-old neighbor last week. The teen stole her phone – twice – beat her once and then came back and beat her again with a a metal rod while she was on the phone with police.
But the six foot teen is still free. The court let him off because he has an IQ of 49.

The teen behind the attack is a Somali immigrant teenager.

“On February 26, the City of Vancouver voted not to renew funding for the Vancouver Rape Relief shelter — Canada’s oldest sexual assault crisis shelter. The shelter has provided trauma and outreach services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, incest, and sex trafficking since 1973. The decision comes after an extended campaign by trans rights activists to have the City of Vancouver strip funding from the shelter in 2019, with some calling the rape crisis centre “transphobic.”

A sensible look at this WuhanFlu mess — https://bluecollarprepping.blogspot.com/2020/02/guest-post-pandemic-dont-panic.html?m=1 — Its death rate in the general population is no higher than SARS and only slightly higher than SARS in the at-risk population.

If you or members of the family have reduced lung function (smoking, emphysema, cancer) you are in the at-risk category. Avoid crowds. Wash hands frequently. Personally I take vitamin C caps during flu season and I use a pencil to operate the elevator. I also wash my hands after using the common network printer.
