Pelosi Calls for Disbarment of Trump Team

2020 February 4
by bc3b

Ever notice how the left always blames others for their mistakes? Take Hillary Clinton; she refuses to accept blame for defeat. She still is blaming Russia and white women and blacks for not turning out rather than simply admitting she and Robbie Mook ran a horrid campaign. She never visited Wisconsin in the general election and spent little time in Michigan, while Trump almost took up residency in Michigan. Trump won both states and the presidency with them.

The Democrats have been working to overturn the results of the 2016 election since Trump was declared the winner, primarily through impeachment. Trump and his team outperformed ant out-maneuvered the Democratic impeachment team. Even, while trying to hold back the tears, CNN talking heads admit this

So, like Hillary, rather than admit defeat (and that she had some truly obnoxious and unlikable people running the Democratic impeachment effort), Pelosi is trying to “schiff” the blame, going so far as to declare members of the Trump team should be disbarred for winning. That’s like banning the Kansas City Chiefs and coaching staff from football for life for beating Pelosi’s 49ers in the Super Bowl.

For about ten years, San Fran Nan has been working feverishly to say something dumber than “You have to pass the bill ….” She may have succeeded.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi railed against President Donald Trump’s legal team on Thursday, asking “how they can retain their lawyer status.”

“I don’t know how they can retain their lawyer status, in the comments that they’re making,” Pelosi told reporters on Thursday afternoon.

“Some of them are even lawyers,” Pelosi said, castigating the idea in a statement to D.C. journalists:

Imagine that you would say — ever, of any president, no matter who he or she is or whatever party — if the president thinks that his or her presidency … is good for the country, then any action is justified — including encouraging a foreign government to have an impact on our elections.

“[That] is exactly what our Founders were opposed to, and they feared,” she continued, adding that she does not believe Trump’s legal team “made the case.” Pelosi claimed they “disgraced themselves terribly in terms of their violation of what our Constitution is about, and what a president’s behavior should be.”

Dershowitz is attempting to make the case that if Trump committed the acts of which he is accused, they are not impeachable if he believes he was doing the right thing for the country. Trump’s defense has further asserted, via Jay Sekulow and Pat Cipollone, that the articles of impeachment are unconstitutional and therefore “defective in their entirety.”

Despite indications that acquittal is virtually certain at this point, Pelosi has also declared that any Senate vote to acquit the president would be invalid unless new witnesses were called to testify. “He will not be acquitted. You cannot be acquitted if you don’t have a trial; and you don’t have a trial if you don’t have witnesses and documentation,” she claimed

Well, it’s 8:00 in the morning in Detroit and still no Iowa caucus results. I don’t know who will win, but I know who lost – the Democratic Party. This once again shows how incompetent it is. You can bet this will be the butt of Trump jokes via Twitter and at the next rally. Maybe the results will be available November 4.

I’m not sure which was the biggest disaster – the Posiden or the Iowa caucus operation.

Here’s Maureen McGovern singing The Morning After when she was young and hot:

The Democrat Caucus is an unmitigated disaster. Nothing works, just like they ran the Country. Remember the 5 Billion Dollar Obamacare Website, that should have cost 2% of that. The only person that can claim a very big victory in Iowa last night is “Trump”.

Apparently the company that developed the Iowa caucus reporting app was a tech firm Hillary used in 2016:

Trump expanding base of black, Hispanic, suburban voters, has 51% approval
The improving economy and voter anger with the partisan impeachment process have helped to boost President Trump’s support among blacks, Hispanics, independents, and suburban women, according to a new survey.

This poll showed 22% black support versus 6% in the ’16 election.

The thing that scares the Dems most about Trump is his ability to mobilize the opposition (not necessarily the opposition. The only other Republican who was able to get people to camp out overnight was … Sarah Palin.

Palin was the precursor to President Trump. She scandalized the GOP establishment with her attacks on Democrats and the media. Prior to Palin, Republicans played by “Bush Family Rules”: cower in fear while the opposition attacks. Never fight back because it isn’t polite. The elite don’t stoop to fighting back.

It’s 10 AM in the Eastern Time Zone (9 AM) in Iowa and still 0 precincts officially reporting. Rumor has it that JR has a slight lead over Bernie.

May the caucuses will be like the CNN/Des Moines poll and they will just get scrapped.

At 9 AM the morning after the 2016 election Democrats were already holding meetings to impeach the new president.

Someone has to ask the question. What if? — this Iowa screw up was planned? There have been whispers that the Democrats since they can’t win 2020 outright will instead attempt to invalidate the results. What follows of course is, Iowa a test case??

Caucus as a method has always been a bit messy. So you have teams go in and screw with it physically by flopping between the various supporting voters so there is no idea of an accurate count. And you have cover ala the App. Won’t be the first time someone laid the blame on a computer. Too damn convenient.

    Terrific rant.

Perhaps the best thing about this ridiculous kabuki act was how it forced the unwoke Republicans to stop pretending that these antics are legitimate, that we need to treat this crap seriously, and that we need to act like these games are not just another bogus ploy designed to disenfranchise us and re-empower the sorry pack of weirdos, losers, and mutations that make up the Democratic Party. Even Senator Igloo (R?-Frigidaire) got tired of it.

The development of that firearm is interesting in itself. But there is something even more interesting further down — 3D printed glock mags. I say interesting because one of the salient methods that left use against firearms is capacity. They accomplish that by outlawing X round mags. Well cats out of the bag. When someone can 3D print them for less than $1 the law is moot. (If I am intent on murder a firearms charge is the least of my worries.)

Even further down is an article on ECM rifling of a barrel. I have done ECM to remove busted studs out of an engine block. It is reasonably precise it just takes patience. The article implies that the gun might not even qualify as a gun in the ATF sense. There is no lower per definition but I would not bet my life savings just yet.

The Morning Joke covering the Iowa debacle:

    * Joe Scarborough saying it was a bad “omen” when landing in Des Moines and two out of five bathroom stalls were out of order. “If they can’t run a bathroom, how can they run a democracy?”
    * CNN poll maven Harry Enten saying the lackluster turnout was “concerning, suggests Democrat enthusiasm for the 2020 general election not “as strong as it once was.”
    * Al Sharpton saying Biden doesn’t want to clear up what happened in Iowa: “as long as it is cloudy, he can escape through the smoke.” Al adds: “the winners [sic] last night, unfortunately, was Donald Trump,” and Bloomberg who can claim to be the “competent” candidate. Al pointedly notes: “I’m not supporting anybody at this point,” but Bloomberg has claim to competence. Could Sharpton be sniffing some Bloomberg cash in the offing?
    * Sam Stein suggesting Biden might want to skip New Hampshire, where Sanders and Warren will “wipe the floor” [with him], and head straight to his supposed “firewall” in South Carolina. Stein also spills some beans, mentioning that “everyone is projecting” a fourth-place finish for Biden in Iowa, which Stein describes as “terrible” and “truly horrible.”

DES MOINES, Iowa — Pete Buttigieg is leading the Iowa caucuses with 62 percent of 99 counties reporting, the Iowa Democratic Party said at a briefing Tuesday afternoon, nearly an entire day after a smartphone app malfunction delayed the reporting of results.

Buttigieg earned 26.9 percent of the votes counted so far, followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders with 25.1 percent. Sen. Elizabeth Warren has earned 18.3 percent and former Vice President Joe Biden is in fourth place with 15.6 percent.
