Internment, errr, Isolation Camps.

An Isolantion Camp

The longer I live the fewer Conspiracies have Theory attached to them. In Washington State the ole ‘FEMA Camps’ are no longer a theory. They just show up as Isolation Camps instead:

Looks like we need to pull Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn off the shelf and read it again, anew.

Source There is a video of the WA Guv ‘plan’ in the link.

Now the logic escapes me other than he is a power mad man. Take a family of 4. Unlikely but lets say the 35yo father gets CoVid. The two kids and the dog will likely NEVER catch the virus. The wife most likely won’t either unless she has ancillary reductions in the immune system. The logical choices are either he isolates say in an extra bedroom or if severe to the hospital. All the Guv’s choice does is reinfect another site and prep that site for infection/reinfection of another isolator. Its a variant of the stupidity in NY of moving people to nursing homes.

It appears gov Desantis of FL is learning from Trump how to handle the media. He has been doing a great a job in getting FL open.

Here’s an article with details of the WA plan.
    Jaw dropping.
Like, they won’t tell you who fingered you, they just lock you up. “What could go wrong?”

It’s possible that a whole generational cohort of Dem Govs have self-invalidated.
This is just a county board but
    1) the district went for Obama twice
    2) the 3 incumbent Dems got twice the votes as 4 years ago but STILL LOST to 3 Repub challengers.
there must have been big, BIG turnout.

Is that a whiff of “wave election” I smell in the air?

A good, clear description of what Gen Flynn was up against at TheNewNeo blog. It’s old info but I think well written. He had 3 levels of opposition: the prosecution, the judge and his own legal team.
First General Flynn was set up by the Obama administration and the FBI. The FBI already knew from their investigations that he was not guilty of any wrongdoing regarding Russia, but they nevertheless set a trap to interrogate him and charge him with lying to the FBI.

Lying to the FBI is not perjury, not technically anyway; it’s a special crime. It’s also a strange crime in that not only does there not have to be any primary crime about which the person is lying – and in Flynn’s case there was no such crime and what’s more the FBI knew there was no such crime – but in that it also relies on a record that depends wholly on the FBI agents’ integrity in reporting on what the person has told them. There is no way to independently corroborate the word of the interrogator, and no record other than the one he/she generates by writing down a 302 form about what happened.

In Flynn’s case, the outrages of the government were multiple and serious. Here are some:
    (1) not telling Flynn he was a target in the interview
    (2) telling him he didn’t need a lawyer
    (3) interrogating him about a phone call for which they already had a transcript, and not telling him about that transcript – which means they had no need to question him at all about the call and the entire thing was a trap to accuse him of lying if he differed in any way from the transcript
    (4) threatening to prosecute his son if he didn’t plead guilty
    (5) threatening him with the Logan Act, a law under which no one in 200 years has been prosecuted, and which was especially inappropriate for Flynn because he was an official of the incoming government and had a right to talk to foreign officials.

And that’s just the prosecution. There were also offenses by Flynn’s lawyers, and by Judge Sullivan, who suggested in court that Flynn was guilty of treason, and ended up having to apologize to Flynn. And now, of course, the fact that Sullivan has ignored the DOJ withdrawal from the case and stated request to drop it, and appears to have been intent on starting a new quasi-trial for perjury, which was never part of the original charges.

Flynn’s only charge, and it was bogus too, was a process crime. That is why if some one comes to you and identifies as a federal anything, you:

    * You reach into your pocket, turn on your cell phone and start the voice recorder.
    * You simply state — “I talk to no one till legal counsel is present.”

Conclude the interaction right then and shut the hell up.

“BIG turnout.” – lot easier to do when tons don’t want to leave the house and the nursing homes are a no-go area for harvesting. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

4- Will backfire as people just refuse to identify all around, and make a few calls themselves. Which will just lead to more spread. Should I get the vid, I’m not saying a fking word about others or where I been – and it’s their own fault that I’m gonna be an asshole like that.

7 – Yup. Don’t say a fking word, no matter what you think, it can only hurt you.
