Is CNN Complicit in these 21 Deaths?
At least 21 people died in the aftermath of George Floyd’d death. Like the Afghanistan War, these protests are setting new records for duration. One major difference between these and the protests/riots of the 1960s and 1970s is that those riots were covered by responsible, ethical journalists who wanted to see the violence, destruction and deaths end as quickly as possible.
Today’s protests/riots/looting/killings are covered by people from CNN, who are the farthest thing from honest and ethical. They fan the flames just so they can get people to watch their pathetic excuse for a news network. Isn’t CNN just as complicit in the deaths of these 21 people, ranging from David Dorn, a 77 -year old retired police captain, to Secoriea Turner, an 8-year old Atlanta girl, as it was in the murder of the five Dallas law enforcement officers following Michael Brown’s death?
Black lives matter, and that should include the lives tragically lost in the riots following the horrific police killing of George Floyd. The riots have destroyed black lives, black livelihoods, and black monuments. As Black Lives Matter activists continue to repeat the names of unarmed black men and women killed by police, Americans should respond with the litany of victims killed in the George Floyd riots.
Some of these victims died at the hands of police, but in every case, the riots created the tense situations that led to their deaths. Left-leaning commentators continue to insist the protests were “mostly peaceful,” and it is true that the vast majority of people in the streets — especially during the day — were peaceful protesters. However, many instigators used large crowds as an opportunity to loot, vandalize, and destroy. Portland journalist Andy Ngo has explained how antifa instigators weaponize such situations, and some “Boogaloo” extremists may have done the same.
While the protests were peaceful, extensive riots across America emphatically were not. These riots came with a death toll of at least 21 people.

I was about to congratulate JimNorCal on beating me on predicting the Chicago weekend shooting toll until I checked the final count.
He had: 68 shootings and 15 deaths. I had 101 shootings and 19 deaths. The final total was 87 shootings and 17 deaths. We were evenly off on the deaths – 2 away; I was 14 away on the shootings while NorCalJim was 19 off. Nice try Jim, but with a strong finish, the bros didn’t let me down.

The Blizzard and the Blonde
It was snowing heavily and blowing to the point that visibility was almost zero when the little Blonde got off work.
She made her way to her car and wondered how she was going to make it home. She sat in her car while it warmed up and thought about her situation.
She finally remembered her daddy’s advice that if she got caught in a blizzard, she should wait for a snow-plow to come by and follow it. That way she would not get stuck in a snow drift.
This made her feel much better…and sure enough, in a little while, a snow-plow went by and she started to follow it. As she followed the snow-plow she was feeling very smug as they continued and she was not having any problem with the blizzard conditions.
After an hour, she was surprised when the snow-plow stopped and the driver got out and came back to her car and signaled for her to roll down her window.
The snow-plow driver wanted to know if she was alright as she had been following him for a long time. She said that she was fine and told him of her daddy’s advice to follow a snow-plow when caught in a blizzard.
The driver replied that it was OK with him and she could continue if she wanted, but he was done with the Wal-Mart parking lot, and was going over to Target next.

True story: When I was in the Air Force at Wright-Patterson my unit was comprised of enlisted men who fell into one of two categories: college graduates or Project 10,000 airmen. Project 10,000 was comprised of men and women who the Air Force wouldn’t normally accept (low IQs, poor test scores, etc.).
Two Project 10,000 troops were Bobby Fields and “H. Rap” Traigg. The evening after Bobby Fields was discharged, he and H. Rap (who was still serving) decided to rob the NCO Club on the base. One – H. Rap I believe shot the clerk at the NCO Club. Fortunately, the clerk had a thick pad in his breast pocket and the gun was a small caliber (.22 or .25). What Bobby didn’t realize was that the military are subject to the UCMJ for 48 hours after discharge. The next PCS for these two fine gentlemen was an Army post in Kansas called Leavenworth.

I have always enjoyed debate and discussion where even people who disagree 100% can state their case, and part reasonably amicably…even if neither persuaded the other. One of my oldest and dearest friends is on the opposite side of almost every issue, yet we love and respect each other…even as we try to tear each other’s premises apart.

25 – They can just make up anything that want in terms of what she “says”…especially if she’s not around. Who’s going to question the fbi’s notes or 302’s….etc oh sure 4 years from now someone may get around to extracting them and find out there bogus or suddenly gone missing, but nobody will pay any price for that…if …and it’s a big if it ever got that far. One need only point at the flynn case for example, though there are hundreds of other examples.
