Is it Wrong to Question a Candidate’s Mental Fitness?
We live in a strange time – when riots and looting are considered legitimate forms of protest, when athletes have to explain why they stand for attention during the national anthem, when a life-long criminal killed by the police is memorialized while police officers and innocent black children in Chicago murdered by thugs are ignored. A time in which we’re told we need to have a discussion on race and inequality, but key causes of inequality (77% illegitimacy rate, drop out rates and black on black-on-black crime) cannot be part of the discussion.
We know CNN and the rest of the media are dishonest (it’s gone far beyond bias) with news (sometimes fake news) they heavily promote and real news they suppress because it doesn’t fit their agenda. At CNN they throw gasoline on the fire whenever an unarmed black is killed by the police because protests, riots and more death help their pathetic ratings. But murdered police officers and innocent black children never make the news because it runs counter to their agenda.
It’s hard to imagine anyone in the media more dishonest than the Missing Link (aka Brian Stelter). Stelter is far to the left of center. In Stelter’s twisted mind, the First Amendment only applies to the media and other liberals, not to the President or any conservative. In the past he has stated that anyone who criticizes the media (especially President Trump) is anti-First Amendment and anti-freedom.
Today Stelter told his 12 viewers that conservatives are wrong for questioning Joe Biden’s mental state. Biden is the man who asked people to vote for him “for senator from North Carolina” during a campaign stop, cannot handle friendly CNN interviews, makes daily gaffes and becomes belligerent when people question him (the man he wanted to fight in Iowa and the black reporter who Biden asked if he was on cocaine last week).
Since the lockdown Biden has barricaded himself in his basement, giving friendly interviews occasional streamed presentations that he has botched them badly. The Democratic Party wants to keep Biden in his basement as much as possible and avoid debates at any cost. Biden is billed as a moderate. He is simply a placeholder until after the election until a much more extreme vice presidential candidate can assume the presidency.
Nonetheless, according to Stelter, it’s unthinkable to question the mental fitness of a man seeking the most powerful position in the free world.
Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” anchor Brian Stelter said it is “offensive and otherworldly” for “right-wing” talk radio hosts to question the state of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee former Vice President Joe Biden’s mental and physical health.
Stelter said, “Let’s go on a trip together to a totally alternative universe. You never hear what’s happening there unless you tune in to right-wing talk radio, but you need to know what they are saying because the most popular, most powerful talkers in the country have trained their sights on Joe Biden. What you are about to hear them say is mind-boggling. Look, whether you like Biden or not, this stuff is offensive and otherworldly.”
In a clip, Rush Limbaugh said, “The contrast in knowledge of events and issues, mental acuity, the contrast between Trump and Biden is striking. That is why they are keeping Biden in the basement.”
In a clip, Mark Levin said, “I actually don’t believe Joe Biden is working out of his house. I believe he’s working out of a nursing home or an assisted living home because that’s what he needs.”
In a clip, Ben Shapiro said, “The big problem for Joe Biden is he is falling apart. He’s just falling apart.”
In a clip, Michael Savage said, “He’s not really running for the office. It’s the communist that he picks as his number two who will be running America within three months after he gets sent to the long, long rest he has worked for all of his life. You know, a blanket over his hips, around the clock suites, around the clock care. The man needs the care right now. I pity the man.”
He added, “Every day, every day, this is what’s airing on the radio. There’s Michael Savage saying, I pity the man. There’s Mark Levin saying, I think Biden’s in a nursing home. What the heck is going on on these programs?”
After pointing out Biden rode a bike over the weekend, Stelter concluded, “We are going to see negative partisanship fuel the next three months, the last three months of this never-ending campaign.”
Stelter’s greatest fear is that Jill Biden, the rest of the handlers ang the media won’t be able to keep Biden together and fool a majority of Americans through election day.
