CoVid, Side Effects

One of the hallmarks of totalitarianism is mass conformity to a psychotic official narrative. Not a regular official narrative, like the “Cold War” or the “War on Terror” narratives. A totally delusional official narrative that has little or no connection to reality and that is contradicted by a preponderance of facts.

Nazism and Stalinism are the classic examples, but the phenomenon is better observed in cults and other sub-cultural societal groups. Numerous examples will spring to mind: the Manson family, Jim Jones’ People’s Temple, the Church of Scientology, Heavens Gate, etc., each with its own psychotic official narrative: Helter Skelter, Christian Communism, Xenu and the Galactic Confederacy, and so on.

Looking in from the dominant culture (or back through time in the case of the Nazis), the delusional nature of these official narratives is glaringly obvious to most rational people. What many people fail to understand is that to those who fall prey to them (whether individual cult members or entire totalitarian societies) such narratives do not register as psychotic. On the contrary, they feel entirely normal. Everything in their social “reality” reifies and reaffirms the narrative, and anything that challenges or contradicts it is perceived as an existential threat.

These narratives are invariably paranoid, portraying the cult as threatened or persecuted by an evil enemy or antagonistic force which only unquestioning conformity to the cult’s ideology can save its members from. It makes little difference whether this antagonist is mainstream culture, body thetans, counter-revolutionaries, Jews, or a virus. The point is not the identity of the enemy. The point is the atmosphere of paranoia and hysteria the official narrative generates, which keeps the cult members (or the society) compliant.

What makes the CoVid situation most insidious is the willful acceptance of the demand. Examples:

  • Whitmer not obeying the State supreme court order to cease the lock down.
  • Cuomo having fines levied against synagogues in NYC.
  • Various State actors toeing the party line even though WHO has reversed course on the matter of isolation.

The year 2020 also shows one other aspect of American society – ignorance. CoVid maybe man made, but it is an imprint of a natural virus base. As a consequence CoVid must invariably follow the same rise, saturation, fall pattern of every other virus that the human population has encountered. Yet even knowledgeable people, doctors, are failing in the presence of the State to mandate actions without considering the motives for doing so or the validity of the science of those actions. A good example being – It is unlawful to gather for church up to a limit, but no actions are taken against protesters in the street of any size, venue, or location.

Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge: it is those who know little, not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science.

It concerns me that so many consent to their lives being ruined with nary a thought. Worse being that those who have a brain are being ‘hunted’ like lepers for their insight to how screwy the whole CoVid episode has become.

But it is a big win for the Chinese Reds.

    Obama will campaign for Biden.
“The headline in the Daily Mail intrigued me, “Joe’s SOS to Barack: Obama to return to campaign trail to help floundering Biden and [Obama] releases ad urging Democrats to vote.”
Wait a second. The average of the polls at Real Clear Politics showed Biden has a 10-point lead over President Donald John Trump.”

Another angle to that. How does it help Biden if Obama is clearly implicated as a member of the RussiaGate hoax? Which itself brings to mind the corollary issue about Hunter who is now a fugitive from Ukrainian justice.

I think Obama’s shitting bricks because of the doc dump that happened this morning. I think he’s trying to get in front of this….. he could give two shits about pedo joe or the election. He’s worried about himself now….. the definition of a full blown narcissist.

I am sure he is. But ask yourself, what is the brighter move? Laying low or becoming highly visible on the campaign trail? No past president has ever been arrested for acts post POTUS so I would lay low. But that is just me.

Narcissism is nothing of it isn’t protecting your reputation and framing yourself. Obama is not doing this to help Joe….. if that were the case why not get out there a couple of months ago like he did for the bitch in ‘16? He’s worried about his brand….. he serves to make a lot of $$$ from Netflix etc….. he’s going to try and protect his brand.

3, the biggest indicator that Biden has been failing all along is the fact that Obama hasn’t been out campaigning for him. Obama would have gotten involved months ago if it was a sure thing, but the guy is a narcisist and steers clear of anything that has a wiff of failure, risk or, worse, hard work. Legacy and all…

It was over by then. And he knew it.

1, “lives ruined with nary a thought”

Yes, it is striking how many have this strong urge to think “if only EVERYONE believes reality will change”. Also, “What? You don’t believe? Why are you evil, hateful and literally Hitler?”

One possible theory is that cultures are programmed to want a war from time to time. All our Prog fellow citizens hate guns so instead the WuFlu has become their substitute. That’s why there are heroic “front line workers” who wear masks instead of uniforms. And it’s why people get so over the top when you don’t fall into line. (“What? You didn’t close your drapes at night? Why, a Nazi bomber might see the light from your window and use it to pinpoint our town for a bombing run!”)

Point taken but then Trump himself is a narcissist but learned a different lesson in being so — bring your friends along and it is not so obvious. Here is where I think Obama doing what he is doing has consequences.

Trump I suspect already knew what the dirt was on Obama vis a vis RussiaGate. He had no need to use it so long as Obama kept a low profile. Now Obama is sticking out. So many ways to leak even further dirt that has not seen the light of day. Obama attack Trump? Surely you guys don’t think Trump would take that lying down? That would in my estimation trigger an even more damaging document dump.

Heck she and SO might have guns in the house? If they did I figure with 9 kids in the house the arms are under lock and key. Kids can obey, but they can also be stupid when parents aren’t around. (I resembled that remark when I was a kid.)

Doc that is likewise a good and valid point but I’m not one who ever thought Barry was smart. Big Mike is the brains of that outfit. Barry is lazy. Why get of the $25000 sofa in “the vineyard” for pedo joe? Sorry but Barry likes lazy and likes $$$ for nothin’ and his chicks ( with dicks ) for free…. thank you Dire Straights ( Mr. Knoeffler ).

I haven’t read this, my brain is too small to hold info on the 2016 coup.
But apparently there is key new stuff

Here’s a bit of it: (I was really surprised that it wasn’t Rogers who told Trump he was being spied upon.) Of course I don’t know how much of this is true, but it all jibes with what we’ve read for years.

“Luckily Trump had retained close allies like @DevinNunes, who was the head of the HPSCI and though still a rookie, knew enough to keep informed, and pay attention to details, but being in congress limited what he could actually do other than shed light.
Flynn’s small elite force was in place like his intelligence team of Ezra Cohen-Watnick, Derek Harvey, Michael Ellis, @RichHiggins_DC, and his commerce strategists like Peter Thiel, David Cattler, John Eisenberg, Kenneth Juster & Kevin Harrington
“Flynn was assembling a team of deputies to get the NSC back on track to do what it was originally intended, and not the political hackery the previous administration had turned it into, and this the NSC down to less than 50 possibly 25.
“Despite popular belief it was this small team, headed up by Ezra who sniffed out that Obama was spying on the Trump Campaign, and a female analyst who let Ezra know that Mike Rogers was going to make his pitch to be CIA Chief.
Ezra knew that would be disastrous, Rogers was career NSA and because it was the NSA that was the hub of all this spying. The NSA is the cesspool of the swamp, Snowden exposed just how bad it was in 2013.”

Regarding Biden’s son Hunter, has Twitter and Facebook going full 1984 on the topic brought more or less attention to the corruption? I’ve seen people in other places this will trigger the “Streisand Effect” and bring more attention than this otherwise might have. I tend to agree, but when social media and media circle the wagons and pretend something doesn’t exist, it sadly tends to work.

PG&E Power Shutoffs to Impact Roughly 53,000 Customers in 24 Counties

PG&E said Wednesday it will move forward with a new round of Public Safety Power Shutoffs that will impact approximately 53,000 customers in parts of 24 Northern California counties.

In the Bay Area, about 22,000 customers in seven counties — Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma — will have their power turned off Wednesday night as the region faces high fire danger due to gusty winds and dry conditions.

30, it IS pretty astonishing what the citizenry has built to share info, in terms of blogs, YouTube channels, and emailed newsletters.

If there was a conservative newspaper would you subscribe?
If there was a conservative TV channel, more than wimpy Fox, would you order cable?
Plenty have gotten out of the habit.

Newspaper? Probably not. Its a delivery vehicle past its prime.
As to TV channel, would not OAN qualify? The times I get to watch them I like what I see. But its maybe 2-3 hrs a month so I can’t personally vouch if they are or not.

Some early mail votes in MI with analysis.
Pretty tight, MI perhaps a bit better than expected …

This is a discussion of early voting in MI. Progs beginning to grip hard:

MD Progressive & Rays Bandwagoner RoseSeedling
    Vote Margins in…

Small orange diamond Counties that tend to vote GOP: R +34.2%
Small blue diamond Counties that tend to vote DEM: D +29.1%
    Small orange diamond**BELLWEATHERS**: R +17.4%

In Michigan’s historic bellweather counties, the GOP currently has a vote lead of just over 40,000 right now. (17.4%)

    That is… unexpected.
