Rasmussen Poll: Biden Dividing Americans

A Rasmussen poll, which was taken earlier this week, shows that Republicans and independents believe that Joe Biden is further dividing Americans.

While Biden talks of unity, his Executive Orders, appointments and actions are anything but unifying.

Here’s the results of the poll (available to Rasmussen subscribers only):

…. with a Rasmussen poll showing 80% of Republican voters don’t believe Biden can unite Americans. Among “other” voters, that number is 62%. In contrast, 75% of Democrats believe Biden can unify the nation.

In fact, 44% of likely voters believe Biden is “more to blame for the division in America.” The same figure, 44%, blame all “his political opponents.”

Also, a huge 81% believe America is as badly divided now as it was before the election or even moreso.

Even 26% of Democrats blame Biden for dividing the nation, joining 66% of Republicans. Only about one voter in six thinks the nation is “more united.”

(snip)

“Americans must confront the divisive legacy of campaign arguments that an entire party was somehow trying to steal or destroy the country,” they write. “The whole point of democracy is that voters can benefit from two parties competing to offer them better public service. The president must act now to reaffirm this vital truth in the reddest parts of America.”

However, (Michael) Goodwin insisted Biden’s “unity” call is no more than “a disguised call to the factions in his own party to stick together, to give him a chance. I’ll keep you all happy, he’s saying, just watch.”

The “dogma” of the “passionate far left” lives “loudly in the dozens of executive orders he’s signed already,” Goodwin argued.

Goodwin wrote that Biden is keeping his promises to do the “opposite” of Trump, but an “effective campaign tactic is economically disastrous as a governing principle.”

This article from WaPo fits with this post. The Democrats have DEMONIZED their “colleagues” in Congress as “the ENEMY WITHIN”, labeled Trump supporters as “Domestic Terrorists”, and openly talked about “de-programming” everyone who disagrees with them.

Talk about “Dividing Americans”. But then the WaPo writes this shit that makes it sound like all of THAT was Democrats trying to “woo Republicans”.

Kristallnacht was simply Hitler trying to “woo the Jews”…but then he had to move beyond that and just gas them.

The author asks: “What is the hill for Trump voters to die on?”, then suggests abortion is that hill. It is a good article with quote supporting her position:

The rabid backlash by a radical government to silence Trump and his supporters proves that a government weaponized against innocent babies will eventually weaponize against all of its citizens.

Before we get to that “hill”, however, we have several others we must defend first: our 1st & 2nd Amendment Rights, for example.

On the Chris Salcedo show yesterday (which I watched this morning) he asked: “Why are Democrats trying to CAUSE a Civil War, when they must know they would lose it since Conservatives have VASTLY more firepower?”

His answer: China. I’ve read several books where that scenario is played out…a “deal” with China to “save” America in exchange for something (land, withdrawal of American forces worldwide, etc).

I don’t think even the Democrats are that evil…yet. But there must be some reason they think they can “win” a Civil War.

    3. To paraphrase what General Patton said…..

It is not for conservatives to pick a hill to die on,
It is to make the other dumb bastard liberal die on his hill.

    Or something like that.

My birthday isn’t until Feb. 22 and I would appreciate it if you would tell the semi driver to be more careful delivering presents this year.

well worth reading and passing along.

The only mistake the author makes is in calling the consequences “unintended”. I think the Democrats INTEND to destroy our country…so they can rebuild it into their Socialist wet-dream.

JR, 3, about which hills “to die on”.
I’m pretty sure GOPe has bypassed all the hills in their long surrender campaign.
Pretty much all we have left now are “hills worth dying on”. Including, as you state, 1st and 2nd Amendments and abortion. But adding on gov’t corruption, oversize gov’t, unequal justice (Dems go free), spying on citizens, demonizing political opponents, weaponizing gov’t agencies, cozy interlocking relationships of BigTech BigEducation BigMedia and Dems.
