Biden’s “Press Conference” Was Totally Orchestrated
Joe Biden answered just 10 questions in his first press conference, which was more than two months in the making. More time passed from the President’s inauguration to the first press conference than any time in recent history.
Biden addressed the border crisis at the beginning of the conference and none of the questions posed by ‘reporters” covered it. It seemed as though Biden knew exactly what would be asked and the order in which questions would be asked. His responses came mostly from a briefing binder. This really should come as no surprise as even at his zenith Joe Biden wasn’t that bright. He finished near the bottom of his Syracuse Law School class and has been caught several times plagiarizing the works of others.
New photos reveal several cheat sheets used by President Joe Biden during his Thursday press conference — including one with the headshots and names of reporters he planned to call on.
The president also used notes to assist with facts about US infrastructure, a policy area Biden is focusing on during his first months in the White House.
“The United States now ranks 13th globally in infrastructure quality — down from 5th place in 2002,” read one bullet point.
But despite having the answers in front of him, Biden still slipped up, saying America ranked 85th in the world in infrastructure, before correcting himself.
The press pool at Thursday’s briefing, the first one held by Biden since taking office 65 days ago, was limited to 25 reporters.
Biden only took questions from a list of journalists whose names and outlets he read from a cue card. A photo of the card shows circled numbers around select reporters.
In the early stages of the 62 minutes presser, in which Biden fielded 10 questions, the president appeared to repeatedly lose his train of thought, forgetting questions and asking reporters if they wanted him to give detailed answers.
Many of his responses were aided by notes he kept inside a three-ring binder.
He abruptly wrapped up the press conference, telling reporters, “but folks. I’m going,” without sticking around for a follow-up question.
Hat tip: New York Post
Biden cheated his way through law school, so why not press conferences?

Eph, my guess is that there won’t BE a next press conference. Even though the usual suspects (I.e., 95% of the media) will try to cover this up and explain it away, his mental capacity BARELY got him through this utterly scripted dog & pony show (and was not nearly as entertaining as those are).
By July he won’t be able to even read the cue cards.

Good article. I didn’t grow up in N.Y., but the article describes my upbringing as well. Several times we lived in neighborhoods where I was virtually the ONLY “White” kid (other than my siblings). We also lived in places where they were ALL “White” kids…and everything inbetween. Upon meeting new people (we moved a lot) I treated everyone the same: with decency and deference, until and unless they moved up or down from there (became friends or became “enemies” ). Most just stayed in the “decency and deference” category of “acquiaintences “. NOW I’m told daily that the ONLY thing that matters is skin color, gender, sexual orientation, etc. what a fu@ked up world.

The “press conference” was limited to 25, but since it was determined in advance which 10 would be called on, 15 were wasting their time.

drdog – #22 – The below is a little concerning to me. There is a fine line between, on what is violent content and incitement of violence. Kind of like what one person’s terrorist and another person’s freedom fighter. How it is ok for one group but not another.
On Thursday, Parler sent a response to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform’s request for documents regarding the riot, the company explained in a press release. In that response, Parler revealed that it had “proactively developed an open line of communication with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the fall of 2020 and referred violent content and incitement from Parler’s platform over 50 times before January 6th. Parler also warned the FBI about specific threats of violence being planned for the events at the Capitol on January 6th.”
[24]
23, thanks for highlighting that. I’m sure that both Gab and Parler correctly prohibit illegal activities on their site. Still, I feel like Gab is on my side. I don’t have that feeling about Parler.

GN, indeed. Fact if you consider the ‘rules’ that are attempting to be put in place the American Revolution would have never have happened. I sort of draw the line at, if there is a plan to plant devices or forces to achieve an aim, I am against that. Run of the mill calling for revolution, let them. That kind of spouting off is usually done by people who never will. Those that will ferment revolution are like a tick, deeply buried and usually unseen or heard.

Parler’s value is potentially the antitrust angle. Their mission statement certainly is different than Gab.

The massive ship blocking the Suez Canal may prove to be a titanic pain in the butt — by reportedly unleashing a toilet paper shortage not seen since the early days of the coronavirus pandemic.
The owner of the Ever Given, the 200,000-ton behemoth that ran aground this week when high winds turned it sideways, has apologized for the mega-blockage, which is causing a global trade crisis.
But the proverbial s–t could really hit the fan if it triggers another TP crisis, as a flotilla of cargo ships remain stuck behind the huge vessel.
Walter Schalka, CEO of the Brazilian wood pulp company Suzano SA, told Bloomberg News that the firm was struggling to transport the raw material for toilet paper amid the delays.

Yeah I saw that and wondered though, why would a ship laden with his wood pulp destined from Brazil to say the USA for refinement (assuming that’s actually done on this side), be a problem… but then I considered it’s likely less about that travel and more about all the added delays for all ships elsewhere, or perhaps lack of containers. Which is kind of funny cause a few years ago it seemed there were more containers and ship capacity then needed, rates bottomed, and containers were being sold off for cheap and lots of ships just moored up as ghosts.

78,
It is going to be interesting to watch the battle between the Fed and BTC. If BTC wins that is the death of fractional banking as we know it. Fact it could be the end of banking period. We could see something akin to peer to peer lending with BTC as the exchange medium. (BTC would have to stabilize to do so however.) Fed wins we end up with FedCoin and the banks still lose. The Fed no longer needs the first tier banks to paper over the country they just use helicopter money.

I actually don’t understand the Fedcoin stuff yet. I know it’s not based on blockchain or verification.
I think it’s going to just an extension of existing system basically just skipping over banks as the middle man that would historically make the Federal reserve deposit stimmy checks into a person’s bank account. Instead the Fed reserve would be the person’s personal bank.
This also allows individual interest rates based on ethnicity, race etc since they could lending direct to you….and therefore allows for behavioral economics as well. For instance if they buy cigarettes or sodas rates go up.
But I’m not sure any of that has much to do with bitcoin.
[83]

I think Fed coin would in face give the Fed chairman power to do race discrimination for her.

“I actually don’t understand the Fedcoin stuff yet. I know it’s not based on blockchain or verification.”
How do you assume it would not be blockchain based? Nothing unique about the blockchain tech. Fact I would offer that for FedCoin to exist it will REQUIRE blockchain. Why? Maintenance of money velocity. The Fed will want a mechanism to spot punish certain behaviors. You commit a gun purchase? The Fed knocks your savings rate down. You start to stack a lot of FedCoin, your savings rate is reduced again. You pile a bunch of loans, your loan rates go down. To target behaviors (think our tax code) they will need blockchain to do it.

Rosalynne Montoya, a transgender Latinx model and activist, shared her uncomfortable experience going through airport security with her 481,000 TikTok followers on March 20.
Montoya, who uses she and they pronouns, said she normally has immense anxiety going through the security line. While her gender markers on her I.D. cards are correct, she usually sets off the scanner because of her body.
“Going through the scanner, there’s a male scanner and a female scanner in the TSA checkpoint – and, looking at me, you know, I look like a woman and I am a woman,” Montoya said in the TikTok.
“But, going through the scanner, I always have an ‘anomaly’ between my legs that sets off the alarm.”
Montoya told her followers the TSA agent scanned her again to no avail. After the second time, she told the agent she was trans and the agent used the “male” body scanner, which still went off because Montoya has breasts.
“Then she was like, ‘OK, well we have to pat you down. Do you want a man to do it?’ I said, ‘No! Absolutely not,” Montoya said.

88,
FedCoin won’t need it. Remember TPTB will want to retain the fractional reserve aspects of the current arrangements. I suspect an aspect of that is a) FedCoin will have no upper limit. b) the Fed IS the miner.
When it comes to FedCoin =/= BitCoin. BTC has a hard limit, FedCoin won’t. FedCoin will have certain aspects Eurethim so that the Fed can manipulate your individual behaviors. FedCoin will be programmable.
Keep in mind someone like yourself will balk at such an arrangement. But you are knowledgeable the average American is not. They will accept FedCoin just like they accepted wearing masks.
