Standing Up to Corporate America

2021 April 16
by bc3b

Much like Germany in the 1930s, major corporations are joining with the government to rob citizens of their rights and impose their will on the people of the country.

Much (most?) of the time, corporate leaders and government officials are taking stances that are in direct opposition to the will of the majority of Americans. There is no better example that voter ID. While 75% of all Americans and 69% of blacks support voter ID laws, “progressive” corporate leaders seem to overwhelmingly parrot the left’s narrative that voter ID is somehow racist. It seems requiring ID is only racist at the polls. The left and people like the CEO of Coca-Cola don’t seem to have an issue when ID is required to:

  • Board a plane
  • Open a bank account
  • Apply for a post office box
  • Cash a check or withdraw funds from a bank account
  • Purchase liquor or tobacco products
  • Perform a multitude of other activities

When baseball commissioner Rob “Girlfred” announced that Major League Ball was moving the All-Star Game because of Georgia’s new voting law, virtually all the people he consulted were black activists and people on the left. To my knowledge, MLB didn’t poll white players or fans. MLB’s press release read like it had been written by Stacey “Queen of Voter Fraud” Abrams herself. And, the woke sports media (ESPN and Fox Sports 1) didn’t question Mr. “Girlfred.”

The only way to turn the tide is to stop purchasing products from corporations that are working with the left to infringe on our freedom.

Instead of:

  • Paying several hundred dollars to take your family to an MLB game, take them to a high school, college or college summer league game followed by dinner at a nice restaurant. You’ll be supporting local businesses and employees who really need the money and saving $200 – $300 in the process
  • Avoid brands like those of P&G. That often requires purchasing from a foreign-controlled multi-national rather than a US-controlled multi-national – All (Henkel-German) instead of Tide; Finish (Reckitt – British)
  • Computer manufacturers are among the most woke. If your laptop goes bad, consider an Acer or Asus

It continues to be a mystery why this country’s corporations refuse to learn the lesson of previous companies who have endured bottom line harm for entering the social activist arena. Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target Stores, and Gillette are just a few of the big names who suffered following social signaling as a company.

Despite these glaring examples of paying a steep price for trying to appeal to non-customers the practice still continues. Not having learned from Gillette, Harry’s Razors recently made the public announcement it was severing its connection with The Michael Knowles Show, after years of being a primary advertiser. This was based on a public outcry. It was literally that; a lone public outcry. It was a 2-follower account…run by a high school student.

In recent weeks a number of companies have risen in voice to oppose the recent voting law passed by the state of Georgia, leading to rash actions and negative public reactions. Major League Baseball boldly announced it was pulling this Summer’s All-Star game out of Atlanta in response, and they have looked ridiculous as a result. Will Smith just announced he was pulling out a film production from the state, moving it to Louisiana. That decision will cost the production $15 million, but at least they are moving to a state with…wait, more restrictive voting laws already on the books?

MLB’s net favorability rating sinks, particularly with Republicans:

If MLB wants to make amends with its actual fins, Rob “Girlfred’s” head on a pike would be a good first step.

bc3b – I remember back in the 1990’s, Bill Clinton & Tony Blair talking about a 3rd Way, a Government & Private Partnership. A person I was to listening to, talked about how this was what the Nazi’s did in the 1930’s and this is what Fascism looked like.

As the bible states, there is nothing new under the sun. As things change, the more they remain the same.

Gnqanq, your take on bc3b’s post is spot on. The Nazis unholy alliance with German & American industrialists fueled the rise of the German military. American media PRAISED the “advances” Germany was making all the way until war war was declared (they continued praising the Sviet Union, of course). Coca-Cola was THE soft drink of the Third Reich. Etc…

And the EXACT same thing is happening now.

Do they miss the fact that gov/media/corps are lying to them? Or do they think it will work out OK? Either way: delusional.

Oklahoma’s Senate passed a bill on Wednesday that would provide legal protections to drivers who hit protesters blocking roadways, FOX23 reported.

The legislation, House Bill 1674, was passed in a 38-10 vote by the Senate and will now head to Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) for his signature.

Oklahoma Democrats argued that the bill will be harmful to peaceful protesters and innocent bystanders, as it could lead to more punishment for them.

But the state’s Republicans argue that it will protect drivers and their families who are in the middle of an unorganized protest.

The left keeps portraying fascism with the right. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

Just remember that Adolph Hitler was Time’s Man of the Year once and Joseph Stalin was TWICE.

One thing the right needs to do is use technology to its advantage. For example, there are several conservative sports podcasts that are rapidly growing.

1 – There is no making amends at this point between all past errors, the prior BLM crap, and the A.S. game bs was a jump the shark “full retard” moment in my view, there is no coming back. Fuck MLB and especially fuck most the owners to pushed it and allowed it and other bullshit to happen prior.

Turn your distaste for the politics into skills:

    * Learn to can food. Someday you may indeed need to know how.
    * Learn to make soap. Easier than you think. Not something we do often but occasionally an oil will ‘go off’, rather than waste it, use it.
    * Make your own beer. Have not tried this yet but want to.
    * Household chemicals. Surprisingly many cleaners consist mainly of either vinegar or soap with other additives.
    * Learn plumbing, electrical or welding. These are always in demand. I am shocked at the increasing lack of skill in the trades.

    Just some ideas.

One of the most depressing things was KnightHawk posting the other day about the women facing 33 to 55 years in federal prison for essentially just being present at the Jan 6th protests. I mean WTF?

This has me starting to think the whole Q Anon thing was a massive honeypot from the left to trap Trump supporters into one day stepping 6 inches over the line so that the Feds can come down on them like a ton of bricks. I never understood Q Anon and what it was about. I tended to think it was a massive LARP by someone getting their jollies, but I’m not sure anymore. The left was obviously pushing their supporters 6 feet over the line without any consequences when they were just waiting for the slightest misstep by those on the right. Then whammo.

There is some seriously Kafkaesque shit going on in our society.

After all, how many people were killed? How many lives/businesses ruined in the fires that typified BLM/Antifa protests that raged for months in 2020? How many of us saw night-after-night of restraint by federal authorities while federal courthouses and facilities were burned and vandalized? Compare that to probably a few 100K of damage at the capital and 3 of the 4 deaths being Trump supporters (the fourth not being explained to this day as it doesn’t fit the narrative).

qanon started on 4chan as a conspiracy theory treasure hunt called CICADA 3301 in 2017, and the winners of it evolved it into ongoing things thereafter.

Keep in mind what else evolved on 4chan: flat earth theory. It started out as memes on 4chan that were funny, and then the memes became more and more preposterous and clever to the point that they decided to make a website to aggregate the memes and try to make it all sound believable. Everyone proposing it at the time knew it was trash, but it was funny so they built it into a trash reality for fun. That’s basically what qanon did.

    Wait.
    Is this disinformation?
    Or does everyone know this?

Vaccine execs: Covid-19 immunity from Pfizer-BioNTech & Moderna vaccines likely lasts less than a year (it’s already almost time for a booster)

As reported on Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson earlier this year, the RNA versions of Covid-19 “vaccines,” Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna probably don’t last as long as a year and may only last for about six months.
Pharma execs say people likely need a third shot within the first year.
Then, people would need a shot every year thereafter.

The following is an excerpt from WebMD:
People who’ve received both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna coronavirus vaccines will probably need a booster shot this year, top executives for those two pharmaceutical companies said this week.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said people who’ve gotten both doses would likely need a third shot within 12 months and might need an annual shot thereafter.
“There are vaccines … like polio that one dose is enough, there are vaccines like pneumococcal vaccine that one dose is enough for adults, and there are vaccines like flu that you need every year,” Bourla said on a CVS Health Live event, “Race to Vaccinate.” “The COVID virus looks more like the influenzavirus than the polio virus.”

The difference in results is the difference in the disease. Critters like Polio and Smallpox have not morphed since they were discovered. Variants of the flu have, yearly. That dictates a new solution every year. The flu shots and the Jab I don’t consider vaccines. Their results do not last the lifetime of the patient.

Targeting supporters of traditional Americans. Politicians, of course. But also any American who stands up, protects himself and his family, fights back.

“Data Breach” Weaponized Against Supporters of Innocence Until Proven Guilty with Kyle Rittenhouse
    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2021/04/17/data-breech-weaponized-against-supporters-of-innocence-until-proven-guilty-with-kyle-rittenhouse/

“…every time I read a story that says a “data breach’ is being weaponized for political benefit, my immediate reaction is now to dismiss the oft claimed “hackers” and focus on the most likely source of privacy weaponization: the known and intentional intrusion by government officials and contractors.”….

” …beyond the initial value of targeting donors there is another facet that is even more important to contemplate. Targeting donors is actually small ball, stopping Americans from donating to groups and individuals fighting against the deep state is a bigger goal. If these individuals can put fear into Americans that their financial support can lead to targeting, well, that financial support might just stop…. THAT is their bigger goal.”

    https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/548663-data-breach-shows-public-officials-police-have-donated-to-rittenhouse
“In August 2020, Blake, a Black man was shot in the back several times by a police officer, Rusten Sheskey, while attempting to enter his car. The incident left Blake paralyzed. ” – Blake had a KNIFE. Blake had an outstanding warrant. Police were called over a domestic dispute & Blake was trying to take the kids in a car.

“Rittenhouse is accused of firing his weapon into a crowd of protesters, killing two of them.” – That is just not true at all. Rittenhouse was being attacked….hunted down.

“A data breach first reported by The Guardian and shared with The Hill by the group Distributed Denial of Secrets revealed that several donors had email addresses traceable to police and public officials.
The Guardian noted that donors attempted to conceal identity by donating with GiveSendGo’s anonymity feature, but identifying details about them were preserved,”…..

    about ‘Distributed Denial of Secrets’: – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distribut … of_Secrets
“Distributed Denial of Secrets, abbreviated DDoSecrets, is a whistleblower site founded in 2018.[2][3][4][5] Sometimes referred to as a successor to WikiLeaks,[6][7][8] it is best known for its June 2020 publication of a large collection of internal police documents, known as BlueLeaks. The group has also published data on Russian oligarchs, fascist groups, shell companies, tax havens, and banking in the Caymans, and has hosted data scraped from Parler in January 2021 and from the February 2021 Gab leak.
