… and The death of meritocracy.

“Politics is downstream of culture.” – Andrew Breitbart

Women Control More Purse Strings

As it stands, women already control a large share of the U.S. consumer wallet. They contribute an estimated $7 trillion to the U.S. gross domestic product per year, according to the Center for American Progress, and are the principal shoppers in 72% of households, according to consumer surveys conducted by MRI-Simmons.

Meanwhile, women are earning bachelor’s degrees at a higher rate than men, and they are the primary breadwinner for nearly 30% of married households and nearly 40% of total U.S. households.

“Because women now contribute significantly more to household income than previous generations and remain the primary shopper for most households, their influence has grown in nature and degree,” says U.S. Retail Equity Analyst Lauren Cassel. This is true whether women are single or married, she adds, though spending decisions do vary by relationship status. “We find that single women outspend the average household, shifting spending profiles toward categories most poised to benefit from the demographic growth in single women with rising incomes,” says Cassel.

Some Data Points

  • Black women net worth – $5, white women – $42,600.1
  • Black men net worth – $19,000, white men – $130,500.2
  • Average age women are married – 27.4.3 Age of high risk pregnancy – 35+. 4
  • Average of women will never be married is 19%. Only 1 in 4 black women will ever be married.56
  • Hypergamy7
  • As a woman gains education and income her target male rises. Typical marker is $100k or higher of income. Only 15.5% of individuals reach that milestone. 8

Possible Results

  • The country will become more socialist regardless of the success or failure of BLM or the Democrats. Women focus on ‘fairness’ rather than merit. That is a successful strategy for a tribe or family. Not so much for a nation of disparate interests.
  • Women direct most of the family expenditures, men generate most of the family income. How can you tell? Walk into a department store and where is the mens dept located? (Ans: first floor next to the doors typically; men don’t shop and when they do its down and dash.)
  • Going forward the nation faces a crisis in women affairs. They do not save enough for retirement bar none. We can expect to see more women living on the streets. We can also expect to see more social protection efforts by women for women. A key notion we see today is that 70% of student debt is held by women.
  • Poverty will increase. Poverty is already rampant among single mothers. This issue will increase with all single females as they reach retirement age. This issue will not be allowed to stand for long so expect even further social expenditures to alleviate the problem.

“Only 1 in 4 black women will ever be married.”

This explains the 77% illegitimacy rate and the high abortion rate among black women.

But, like high drop out rates and a disproportionate percentage of crime, this is something that cannot be brought up when discussing equity.

One more stat, only 6.5% of men expect to get married. That is lower than the 7.1% quoted during the depression of the 30’s. GenX may in fact be the last generation that there are more married people than singles.

In response, on Monday Russia – which has provided security, diplomatic and financial backing to Lukashenko – accused the West of hypocrisy and dismissed European Union and US outrage at the forced landing. It noted that in 2013 a flight from Moscow carrying Bolivia’s president had been diverted to Austria after reports fugitive U.S. intelligence leaker Edward Snowden might be on board.

In a Facebook post, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Western countries were showing double standards in their reaction to the Ryanair plane grounding incident.

“Either the[y] should be shocked by everything: from the forced landings in Austria of the plane of the president of Bolivia at the request of the United States and in Ukraine after 11 minutes of takeoff of a Belarusian flight with an Antimaidan activist. Or they should not be shocked by similar behavior by others”

    https://justthenews.com/nation/free-speech/why-connecticut-threatening-jail-students-under-100-year-old-law-banning

In 1917, Connecticut approved a law that criminalizes “ridicule” of people based on protected categories such as race and color. It only applies to advertisements.

A century later, prosecutors are wielding it against students for using racial slurs, even online or not targeted at anyone.

The recent arrest of a 16-year-old in Fairfield is drawing fresh scrutiny to the statute, with constitutional scholars calling it flatly unconstitutional and chronically applied to unrelated conduct.

The Greater Bridgeport chapter of the NAACP, however, doesn’t think it goes far enough. President Stanley Lord told Just the News his group is pushing for a law that would impose stiffer criminal penalties than the 30 days in jail allowed under the ridicule law.

Authorities arrested a teacher’s aide in Bloomfield, Ohio, on Wednesday for having alleged sexual relations with a 12-year-old student.

33-year-old Mandy Davis allegedly had sex with a twelve-year-old who attends Teays Valley West Middle School where she worked as a teacher’s aide between April 26 and May 11. Pickaway County Sheriff Matthew Hafey said a fellow school employee reported that they noticed an “odd relationship” between Davis and the student which led to an investigation, according to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office’s statement.

Ron DeSantis Signs Law Allowing Florida Citizens to Sue for up to $100,000 Over Big Tech Censorship

    —-

Not sure how far that’s really gonna get once someone tries using it, nor that 100k is comparable to what the censoring may cost someone…but i guess it’s something.

    One provision:
“The Florida Election Commission will impose fines of $250,000 per day on any social media company that de-platforms any candidate for statewide office, and $25,000 per day for de-platforming candidates for non-statewide offices. Any Floridian can block any candidate they don’t want to hear from, and that is a right that belongs to each citizen — it’s not for Big Tech companies to decide.”
    —-
haha even Trump doesn’t want to run again, he should get on an exploratory or the primary action just to cost Twitter and FB 25k a day. Then again the 18.25 million between the two of them is spare change…maybe he should announce for some random FL office just for giggles and cost them 91.25 million each.

29 – Pure technicalities, worthwhile preservation of letter of the law\legislation but as she notes this asshole could have eventually re-entered legally, he just didn’t pay the right lawyers first to make it happen. So all she’s saying is it’s not a defense to say “I could have done the leg work to clean up my situation so I could legally enter, but I didn’t bother, so I shouldn’t be charged with illegally re-entering”.

However in the ruling she goes on to agree his original deportation order was indeed “invalid”, which I still don’t understand because fucker was deported in 1998 for a crime in 1991, and was still a qualified crime in 1998 at the time of his deportation. That the rules changed post 2004 for those then subject to deportations due to DUI’s (at that time and forward) shouldn’t really have any bearing on if his deportation order was valid – it absolutely was at that time and for 6 more years. “wise Latina” thinks different and that his original order was invalid, I wonder if rest of the court really agrees on that. Put another way, there are people that goto jail for shit that is illegal at the time of conviction, but later laws, rules of evidence, all sort of shit can change that might of had an effect on the case, those convicted don’t suddenly get let out of jail in most cases cause things changed after the fact, nor do there records get wiped, nor are they compensated for their time. I get that he could have paid some lawyer to have argued for a new visa discounting the prior stuff due to 2004 ruling, and that the BS woke jokes in gov would have gone along circa 2017, but for her to say (and the lower circuses to say) the original was indeed “invalid” strikes me as some bullshit. So yeah I’m glad they found a reason to overturn on the BS defense aspect, but I’m left scratching my head on the meat of the underlying matter.

So, is the choice inflation or implosion? Williams says, “That’s the choice, and I think we are going to have a combination of both of them. I think we are eventually headed into a hyperinflationary economic collapse. It’s not that we haven’t been in an economic collapse already, we are coming back some now. . . . The Fed has been creating money at a pace that has never been seen before. You are basically up 75% (in money creation) year over year. This is unprecedented. Normally, it might be up 1% or 2% year over year. The exploding money supply will lead to inflation. I am not saying we are going to get to 75% inflation—yet, but you are getting up to the 4% or 5% range, and you are soon going to be seeing 10% range year over year. . . . The Fed has lost control of inflation.”

And remember, when the Fed has to admit the official inflation rate is 10%, John Williams says, “When they have to admit the inflation rate is 10%, my number is going to be up to around 15% or higher. My number rides on top of their number.”

Right now, the Shadowstats.com inflation rate is above 11%.

I’ve read that sometimes a Justice will switch sides in order to get the assignment to write the majority opinion. Then, they can write it in a weakened way and their weak version is the “settled law” and the precedent. Instead of a tough opinion written by the esteemed Justice Thomas.
Roberts has switched like that (I think on one of the ObamaCare) cases and he probably is willing to help out the liberals by letting them author some of the key opinions.

More likely — gutless. Unemployment benefits are a drain on the State and the the Govs are seeing dwindling tax revenue from businesses crashing. As much as they might like the Targets, WalMarts and Costcos in town….. Well considering that most of those mentioned wrangle tax abatement’s they don’t contribute % as much as the mom and pops do.
