Biden Fundamentally Transforming the Military

2021 June 14
by bc3b

This comes as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention – warnings about white supremacists in the military, recruiting ads seeking anyone but straight white males as recruits and preferential treatment to members of the LGBTQ+ community and incorporating anti-white elements into military training.

What was once a non-political, colorblind military, whose mission was to defend the country, has been transformed into a highly political organization more interested in battling for social justice than in defending the country.

While this movement didn’t begin with Biden, he has done far more than any previous president to advance it, just as he has done more than any previous president to advance abortion.

For decades, the most trusted institution in America has been our military.  It’s been colorblind and completely apolitical.  Young men and women join it, where they learn institutional discipline, self-discipline, and useful skills, all in the service of our country.  However, in a mere six months, the Biden administration has launched an all-out attack on the integrity of the American military.  While Obama was obsessed with LGBT representation in the military, Biden is taking it to the next level by bringing in Critical Race Theory and openly seeking to purge Republicans and Trump-supporters.

At Power Line, David Horowitz, John Perazzo, and Mark Tapson wrote at some length about what’s happening.  It’s a long essay, but the first five paragraphs will give you the flavor and, I’m sure, send you running to read the rest:

No institution in America — from government offices to schoolrooms to corporate boardrooms and beyond — is safe today from the poisonous racism of Critical Race Theory and the “1619 Project” which posit that United States history is rooted in slavery and white supremacy, and that “whiteness” is an incurable disease. The institution whose subversion poses the greatest threat to our national security is the military, now overseen by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a determined advocate of these repulsive anti-American views.

Austin has required both Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project as core elements of the Pentagon’s military training programs — concealing their sinister agendas under the innocuous-sounding “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” label. He has ordered a purging of the military ranks of what he calls “extremists,” defined as opponents of these noxious views and supporters of Donald Trump and the Capitol protest of January 6th. This transformational focus of our military forces is the Biden administration’s answer to the growing threat of a heavily-militarized China — a purging of “whiteness” and patriotic pride from the ranks of our frontline defenders.

Lloyd Austin III was nominated in late 2012 for CENTCOM commander by President Barack Obama, who openly sought the “fundamental transformation” of America, and spent his eight-year tenure politicizing the military command. When Austin retired from active duty with the U.S. military in 2016, Austin was a four-star general. He spent the next few years in the private sector as a founder and/or board member of various corporations until last December, when President Biden nominated him for the position of U.S. Secretary of Defense. The Senate subsequently confirmed Austin on January 22 by a vote of 93-2, making him the first black Defense Secretary in American history, and also the most radical — even though most black Americans are patriots and are not radical.

Austin was a natural choice for an administration that seems to value the skin color, gender and politics of its appointees over all other characteristics, and — like the President, the Vice President, and the Democratic Party generally — views America as a nation so scarred by its racist history that nothing short of a radical transformation would make it worthy of celebrating and defending. Like Obama, Austin is intent on transforming the American military with dangerous consequences for the 330 million Americans it is its mission to defend.

During Austin’s Senate confirmation hearing on January 19, he vowed to rid the U.S. military of the many “racists and extremists” that allegedly have infiltrated it. “The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies,” he said. “But we can’t do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks.”

Tho Biden will try, I suspect that should we come to blows with the Chins they will transform the US mil even more. There is something about getting your brains rattled that focuses the mind on the essentials.

There is one positive about this.

IF we have to go to war (civil) against our own military, it should not be as hard a slog as if we went against the “A” team.

As I wondered on the previous thread in CWII we know the military brass will back Biden. But will the rank and file members side with the citizenry and against their orders. I just don’t believe they will shoot at the people they mostly agree with.

6, you have a good point but don’t underestimate how much governments, media and Big Tech have learned about how to manipulate public opinion.
They convinced much of the citizenry to give up their rights and destroy the economy… for a disease with a 99.75% survival rate. While successfully banning opposing, well reasoned, viewpoints.

fight on – a few little know facts about the military.

Most of your front line (fighting) troops and special forces are white (males), females and minorities make up the support function. My brother was a 20 year man in the Navy (Machinist Mate – Engine Room), he could count on one hand the number of minorities in his profession. My father in law, served from 1946 to the early 1980’s in the Army (last 15 in a support unit – mechanics/transportation), I asked him about females & minorities – all were in support functions (mail, kitchen, etc), could not recall any as mechanics or direct support.

Look at the videos from Iraq and Afghanistan, you will see plenty of white guys in combat, very few minorities.

Back in the Clinton years, they did a study on the military, thinking that it was diverse across all spectrums. What they found was that the special forces units leaned right to hard right – scared them to death. Thus why democrats are trying to reconfigure the military.

Over the last 40 to 50 years, the military has churned out many people with special skill sets (ask JR). There are plenty still in the military with that skill set. What most of them have in common is that they lean right to hard right.

If push comes to shove, I like our chances.

When Biden continues to tell us his top military advisors are telling him the top threat to this country is Global Warming it makes me want to scream!!! Either his advisors are really telling him this and the military is lost to progressive groupthink, or Biden’s surrounded himself cowards who are afraid to come out on the record and say Biden is a liar.

If it comes to it, CWII will be brutal. There aren’t enough gated communities to protect the soft targets from retaliation from the citizenry should the military actually decide to shoot upon its own people. Any thinking person realizes this and I don’t see the military brass playing a big part in any crackdown by the government.

Looks like Texas is going to ‘Go California’ —

    “Hi John,

Temperatures are on the rise and ERCOT, the state’s grid operator, is anticipating a high demand for electricity. They’re asking Texans to conserve. You can help lighten the load by making a few adjustments in your home this week:

Raise your thermostat a few degrees or more. Running your fans counter clockwise will also keep cool air from rising
Use large appliances like washing machines and ovens sparingly in the afternoon and early evening when demand for electricity peaks
Turn your blinds upward to reduce incoming heat
Unplug devices that aren’t in use

Our app offers you an easy way to see your usage at any time. You can also visit our website for more information on dialing back. And we’re here for you 24/7 at 800-818-6132.

    Thanks for dialing back.

Was reminded of #8 again while reading…

The narrative was set and parroted over and over again and the truth buried, initially probably out of general ignorance, but later (and I don’t mean months I mean a couple days since investigators clearly knew what the guy was saying inside the club and on the phone) for obvious political reasons.

    JR #19 –

We know that voter fraud is a key part of the Democrats’ election plans. They want no voter ID, sending absentee ballots to everyone, ballot harvesting, etc. In 2020 the Democrats added a few new twists: shutting down for the night (with a few key people staying around), 50 cases delivered to the TCF Center in Detroit at 3:30 AM, etc.

drdog – On Precious Metals. I heard Craig Hemke state that there was going to be a shortage on American Silver Eagles this year. It appears that it is going to go a redesigned and will come out mid 2021. Should be a HUGE demand given the new design (let alone normal demand for silver).

    From AMPEX web’s site.

In 2020, the United States Mint unveiled the new reverse designs for the 2021 American Eagle Silver coins. 2021 marks the 35th Anniversary of the American Eagle Coin program, and the new designs will begin appearing on these coins in mid-year 2021. AIP Designer Emily Damstra created the new Silver design, which was sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Michael Gaudioso. The new design depicts a single eagle coming in for a landing, carrying an oak branch as if to add it to a nest.

The US Mint is shutdown, nobody getting a thing but prior years of stock.

There is a rumor floating that the new version will have a chip in it. Me, I am doubtful. The Aussies on their latest gold kangaroos have a micro engraving implemented. I suspect that is probably what will be deployed for the eagles when released. Who knows.

As to the design I look forward to it. Though I don’t think the founders would be pleased. The Great Seal of the US uses an olive branch and arrows — ‘peace and strength’.
