94.7% Evacuated Are NOT Americans

2021 August 25

As Rahm Emanuel says, “Never let a crisis go to waste.” For the left, this is a dream come true. The US will be flooded with more “diverse” people who don’t want to assimilate. They will be Afghans living in the US, but retaining Afghan dress and culture (including treating women like cattle). They will be a drain on the US economic system – receiving welfare, education and medical services. Some will be terrorists. Others will commit crimes, especially crimes against women in the experience of European countries accepting Afghan refugees holds true.

But, fear not because, as the left constantly reminds us diversity is “our greatest strength.” If you don’t believe it, just ask a resident of the Minneapolis area. I have a conservative friend from Minnesota. We had our monthly dinner last night. He said no one he knows in the Minneapolis area will go downtown or to Target Field any longer. Minneapolis was once one of the safest and cleanest big cities in the country – 40 years ago.

It’s safe to say that while many Afghans who helped the US will be left behind and killed by the Taliban, others who have no business coming will become permanent residents (wards) of the US.

The White House bragged about the 4,400 Americans they’ve evacuated so far. They didn’t mention those still stranded or the masses of non-Americans they’ve airlifted out.

If ever there was a time for “America First” policies to be applied, it’s the current situation with Afghanistan. The clock is ticking and there are tens of thousands of Americans stranded in Taliban-controlled territory living in fear and begging to be rescued.

The Pentagon told reporters that they have rescued 4,400 Americans so far.

What they didn’t mention was that tens of thousands remain. They also didn’t mention that America’s efforts thus far have been focused on evacuating non-Americans. According to Jordan Davidson at The Federalist, that number is staggering:

More than 82,300 have been airlifted from Kabul since the government’s collapse nearly two weeks ago, but the Pentagon says that, as of Wednesday, only 4,400 Americans were rescued in those evacuation operations.

President Joe Biden previously promised to get out the Americans who are left in Afghanistan and subject to the Taliban’s rule, but so far, our own citizens do not appear to be the priority.

The State Department also confirmed that a majority of the people whisked away on flights from Kabul are not U.S. citizens. On Tuesday, Politico national security reporter Alex Ward reported leaked numbers indicating that in just 15 hours on Aug. 23, the United States evacuated approximately 6,916 people from Afghanistan. Only 483 of those were American citizens while the rest were Aghan nationals.

While estimates suggest that thousands are still stranded in Afghanistan following the Taliban’s swift takeover of the capital city, the Biden administration still refuses to disclose just how many Americans were left behind. The administration’s process for thoroughly vetting individuals coming into the United States from Afghanistan is also unclear.

The Biden regime has been as opaque as possible with their efforts to evacuate Americans. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was more offended by the word “stranded” earlier this week than the atrocities being committed against Americans by their new Taliban overlords. They are not acting like an administration with a mission. They’re acting like a political unit in PR damage-control mode.

Meanwhile, reports are coming out of Afghanistan of Americans and non-Americans alike in hiding, fearing for their lives. The Taliban’s rapid takeover of Afghanistan has sent shockwaves across the world as nations scramble to retrieve their threatened citizens. It’s a situation that should be perfectly suited for American leadership. Instead, we’re displaying utter weakness in the face of a Taliban force the White House miserably underestimated.

For the left, Afghans are three baggers: they are very likely t o be dependent on the government and vote Democratic. They won’t assimilate, creating diversity. They are not Christian.

From what they are saying on Newsmax, they are vetting Afghan refugees while they are in the air. How do you vett people in a matter of hours if they are coming from a third world country with primitive record keeping? From what they are saying, many Afghans don’t even know their birthdates.

I just watched Biden. His speechwriters must think a mash of patriotic buzzwords mixed w/other presidents’ phrases will do the trick. It sounded as if they have a template of stock parts to sound presidential. Then bring in his son to somehow show empathy-never mind his detached delivery. Add a Bible quote and a moment of silence.

You can’t get any more callous or cynical.

That Biden quote from Isaiah 6:8? Ludicrously out of context. As if a Bible verse makes it all ok! Look at verse 5!!

“Woe is me, for I am ruined!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
    And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”

  35. 2021 August 26 2:52 pm

I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but it came out before Biden did. Three Congress/Defense officials leaked this sickening story to Politico:

U.S. officials provided Taliban with names of Americans, Afghan allies to evacuate
“Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,” said one defense official.

U.S. officials in Kabul gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport, a choice that’s prompted outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials…

The issue came up during a classified briefing on Capitol Hill earlier this week, which turned contentious after top Biden administration officials defended their close coordination with the Taliban.

Another podcast is Scott Melker with a guy who is Chinese but raised in Ivory Coast. He and his brother both got into crypto early, in part because of lessons learned by living in a country with a collapsed currency. He became an entrepreneur and his current company makes a hardware wallet. It’s a “bearer asset”. You have to have it on you. But you can get on a plane and fly to another country with your assets. If the dems think their elections are at risk they might get Manchin-sinema etc all on board.

…dude since the 2007 financial crisis the Fed balance sheet is expanding on average 15% a year and it’s been higher in the past year. It’s about 15% for the G4 nations as well.

The hurdle rate is the minimum return a company must make on its return to justify investors put any money into at all. Although the hurdle rate isn’t determined by balance sheet expansion I would surmise you could estimate the hurdle rate by saying 15% + capital risk ratio (historically 3%)

Even growth equities can’t get the return you need to prevent you from getting poorer during secular stagnation as Lawrence Summers likes to call it.

“if congress had explicitly legislated it they might have come to a different conclusion – which should scare everyone.”

They would need to repeal the 5th amend concerning the taking of private property. But then again the court could always rule what they want in spite of the constitution.

Also every time these financial assets increase it’s just a form of wage deflation.

If home prices double, that means you have to work twice as many hours to be able to afford a home.

If Apple stock doubles, that just means you have to work twice as much to buy the same amount of stock for retirement.

85, maybe I’m too cynical but I’m expecting the worst of both worlds.
Prices of everyday goods like food, gas, rent, medical … will continue to rise.
Deflation due to cheap software and robotics will lead to job loss and lower pay.

And the enormous stimulus spending will be mostly wasted on vote buying not lasting infrastructure improvements

  84. 2021 August 27 12:54 pm

87~~~Yes, that’s called price inflation, which bites us in the butt worse than wage deflation.

Lived thru the last stagflation, you get both. On the first count you are right prices go up. You are wrong on the second count. Robotics/software suck out the middle mgt layer, yes. But what will lead to real job losses is that the commodities will be rising at such a rate that producers will be priced out of of their markets and they simply cease to run and that is how the wholesale layoffs occur.

eg: When a Chevy Volt is $100k NOBODY is buying.

And that is why we will lose the next war that comes. Billy Mitchell fought the Army for nearly 2 decades on policy, got drummed out, only to be proven right. Next time for guys like Scheller, the fight will be over before he could help right the ship.

Jim I listened to Willy Woo on the Peter McCormack show today. He looks at on chain metrics of bitcoin, and he is insanely bullish for q4. ETF likely in Nov and Dec.

We’ve been watching Bitcoin chop around mostly for the past 6 months but I think crypto is going to go bonkers in the next 4 months.

101, we’re already seeing the usual weekend crypto surge LOL

Is ETH well known to be less robust? I’ve seen some stories lately ….
Ethereum on-chain activity declines in response to rise in gas fees

Nic Carter on Pomp said ETH fees were actually rising and that was a concern.
And this story is scary ….
Bug in Ethereum Interface Causes Inadvertent Chain Split, Chaos on Network
All hands on deck to fix bug created by an old version of the Geth client, which is used by 75% of the Ethereum nodes
Ethereum developers fear a double spend attack is possible

This … is amazing. A prank? Satire? Taken leave of his senses?

World Health Organization European Advisory Group of Experts in Immunization former Vice President Professor Christian Perronne yesterday said that all vaccinated people must quarantine over the winter months or risk serious illness.

Perronne specializes in tropical pathologies and emerging infectious diseases. He was Chairman of the Specialized Committee on Communicable Diseases of the High Council of Public Health.

Confirming the rapidly deteriorating situation in Israel and the UK, the infectious disease expert stated: “Vaccinated people should be put in quarantine, and should be isolated from the society.”

He went on to say: “Unvaccinated people are not dangerous; vaccinated people are dangerous for others. It’s proven in Israel now – I’m in contact with many physicians in Israel – they’re having big problems, severe cases in the hospitals are among vaccinated people, and in UK also, you have the larger vaccination program and also there are problems.”
