Specifically, how does one stop a civl war in this country.

There are various discussions on what would be avenues of history –

  • We have a CW II.
  • We have an amicable divorce
  • We muddle along till its a full dictatorship.

Of the three the first two are not really a solution for they will devolve into civil war by some means. The latter of course is not a desirable outcome at all. So is their another avenue. I suggest there is.

Specifically dismantle the administrative state and apply the Federalist system that originally built this country prior to CW I. First a diagnosis. As our example one need look no further than the current Covid crisis.

Problem one is the actual solution to the crisis. Not that its a Jab or that there are 3 of them. Its that from the admiinistrative state’s point of view it is the sole and correct solution. The problem is that is not the case for various reasons:

  • Some people already had immunity from the outset.
  • Due to biochemistry some individuals should not take the Jab at all. Though will have to seek fortune in the kindness of Lord Almighty if they do contract Covid.
  • Total lack of consideration of the public health aspects vis a vis comorbidities. Most common being a fat slob or if you wish BMI > 30.
  • Regulation captured by Pharma as a general course of events.
  • The lockdowns served a political purpose not a public health one.

The last 18 months have been a microcosim of the entire malise the US is currently in, that the only ‘right’ solution must come from Washington DC. There are other examples one could cite; the Afgan exit, our Middle East policy of the last 40 years, lack of a budget, crushing debt, etc. But the one cited is sufficient.

But first a perception must be addressed. That is – If DC does not do it, who will? Otherwise we get chaos. I will point you at two items. 1) Art I, Sec 8 provides for the uniform regulation between the States 2) That for practical purposes said regulation is handled by the States thru the Uniform Commercial Code. Anyone holding a bill of lading in their hands has transacted a UCC document and its associated wares. No federal law was involved in said transaction. Trillions of dollars of assets are handled in this manner and none other in the US. That the Feds must always be involved is an administrative state fiction. So if our entire economy is a State draft enviornment why not other areas?

The irony is we already have the tools needed to eliminate the administrative state. But it requires essentially an army of Ron Pauls to execute it. Quite a reach but it is possible. But I would suggest a trigger event will have to occur that changes a shift in that direction. The most likely of which is either default on the debt or hyper devalustion of the dollar. When everyone is uncomfortable is when change will occur. We already see discomfort in place; France, Australia and California.

The other avenue is convention of the states, Art V. Something good might come out of it. The issue is WHO because that determines WHAT. I don’t suspect we will see a legion of Franklins in that gaggle of players, but I could be wrong. Not only that but I will point out that the member States had that option just before CW I and it was never implemented to solve the slavery issue.

Regardless the American People are already ahead of the leadership. People are leaving States like California,Illinois and New York for more freedom elsewhere. For in vulgares the serperation is already in play.

I close with this observation –

“Governments, if they endure, always tend increasingly toward aristocratic forms. No government in history has been known to evade this pattern. And as the aristocracy develops, government tends more and more to act exclusively in the interests of the ruling class – whether that class be hereditary royalty, oligarchs of financial empires, or entrenched bureaucracy.

I’m laughing about a Civil War brewing within the NBA. With the woke civic arenas where games take place starting to mandate live attendance at games be limited to those who have taken the vaccine and many of the NBA players themselves refusing to get the vaccine. Will players get the blaxpass while attendees are required to get the vaxpass? You know that’s how it will turn out, but the screeching in the meantime ought to be popcorn-worthy.

BTW, here is a link the NBA story from an “unbiased” source:

The annual summer meeting of the powerful NBA union had gone virtual again on August 7, and high on the agenda for the season ahead was a proposed mandate from the league office that 100 percent of players get vaccinated against Covid-19.

One response echoed from squares across the screen, according to players and an executive on the call: “Non-starter. Non-starter.”

The NBA had relied on science above all to lead the sports world through the Covid nightmare, from the league’s outbreak-driven shutdown to a pandemic-proof playoff bubble in Disney World to game after game with fans back in the stands. But after two plagued seasons of non-stop nasal swabbing, quarantining and distrust, unvaccinated players were pushing back. They made their case to the union summit: There should be testing this year, of course, just not during off-days. They’d mask up on the court and on the road, if they must. But no way would they agree to a mandatory jab.

As I said above, this ought to be good.

I have always wondered, especially the NBA why the likes of NBA and NFL need owners anymore. In the early days owners were the financier that made a stadium and team possible. Now? Not so much. The stadiums are largely built via bonds cities float and players make so much money they could literally finance their own leagues these days.

  16. 2021 September 26 1:15 pm

“Why does Ivermectin, a ‘horse dewormer’ work? For starters, it’s a protease inhibitor. Interestingly, Pfizer’s 2x/day Covid-19 prophylactic they’re trialing right now is also a protease inhibitor.”

Let me guess …Pfizers version will work just as well, or maybe 10% better but cost double or triple or quadrupedal and be approved nearly immediately vs the well known and dirt cheap (at least till recent state side run-up) alternative that could have been in use a year ago and certainly should have been by this summer.

KnightHawk, it’s fairly obvious TPTB can’t afford to have Covid turn into something manageable and tame for 99% of the population. Otherwise they may lose the justification for mail-in ballots in ’22, ’24 and beyond (if they can stretch it that far).

If one looks below the surface of what’s happening, it’s clear that the forced closure of our society has severely broken things. Scores of ships lined outside of harbors unable to unload their cargo, labor shortages threatening the businesses that have somehow managed to survive thus far, supply chains completely broken putting pressure on manufacturing, shortages starting to be apparent in the aisles of supermarkets and big-box retailers, and on and on. Our economy is running like a clothes washer running severely out of balance — threatening to vibrate itself to pieces. All the media can do is hope to distract people from noticing by screaming it’s all the fault of the unvaxxed. Perhaps things will get better, but I doubt it.

Entirely possible. My only observation is that TPTB will need a much smarter crop of cronies than what is currently reaping the whirlwind.

Someone mentioned that the Russians can’t believe any adversary can be ‘That Stupid’. Quite frankly that is probably a accurate depiction. Russia is like many of the empires old and new, you can march an army in any direction and reach your target, except Oceania. We have only been successfully invaded once as a consequence. We have derived an entirely different world view from what the rest of the planet has experienced.

I’m hoping the airlines eventually have optional vaccination & masks only flights so that they are safe.

Then the anti-vaxxers can ride the covid plane without masks if they so choose.

I have a feeling the demand to ride on the covid planes will be extremely low, but who knows maybe not.

“The clinical course of COVID-19 is such that by the time most people seek medical attention for hypoxia, their viral load has already tapered off to almost nothing. If someone is about 10 days post-exposure and has already been symptomatic for five days, there is hardly any virus left in their bodies, only cellular damage and derangement that has initiated a hyperinflammatory response. It is from this group that the clinical trials for antivirals have recruited, pretty much exclusively.

In these trials, they give antivirals to severely ill patients who have no virus in their bodies, only a delayed hyperinflammatory response, and then absurdly claim that antivirals have no utility in treating or preventing COVID-19. These clinical trials do not recruit people who are pre-symptomatic. They do not test pre-exposure or post-exposure prophylaxis.

This is like using a defibrillator to shock only flatline, and then absurdly claiming that defibrillators have no medical utility whatsoever when the patients refuse to rise from the dead. The intervention is too late. These trials for antivirals show systematic, egregious selection bias. They are providing a treatment that is futile to the specific cohort they are enrolling.

India went against the instructions of the WHO and mandated the prophylactic usage of Ivermectin. They have almost completely eradicated COVID-19. The Indian Bar Association of Mumbai has brought criminal charges against WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan for recommending against the use of Ivermectin.

Ivermectin is not “horse dewormer”. Yes, it is sold in veterinary paste form as a dewormer for animals. It has also been available in pill form for humans for decades, as an antiparasitic drug.

The media have disingenuously claimed that because Ivermectin is an antiparasitic drug, it has no utility as an antivirus. This is incorrect. Ivermectin has utility as an antiviral. It blocks importin, preventing nuclear import, effectively inhibiting viral access to cell nuclei. Many drugs currently on the market have multiple modes of action. Ivermectin is one such drug. It is both antiparasitic and antiviral.

In Bangladesh, Ivermectin costs $1.80 for an entire 5-day course. Remdesivir, which is toxic to the liver, costs $3,120 for a 5-day course of the drug. Billions of dollars of utterly useless Remdesivir were sold to our governments on the taxpayer’s dime, and it ended up being totally useless for treating hyperinflammatory COVID-19. The media has hardly even covered this at all.”
