Sticks and Stones ….

2021 October 17

…. may break my bones but names will never hurt me. That’s an old saying that we grew up with. We heard it from our parents, friends and classmates.

Today the opposite is true.

Let’s compare former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden and Larry Miller.

Who is Larry Miller? You say you have never heard of him.

Larry Miller is chairman of Nike’s Jordan brand. He is a 72-year old black man. Last week he made a disturbing admission.

Larry Miller, the chairman of Nike’s Jordan brand, fatally shot a teenager in 1965, he told Sports Illustrated in an interview published Wednesday.

Miller told the publication that he was 16 at the time and in a West Philadelphia gang called Cedar Avenue.

Miller’s friend, who Miller considered “an innocent,” was stabbed to death in a gang fight in September 1965, Miller said. Later that month, Miller and others went out looking for anyone affiliated with the rival gang, and shot the first person they encountered, he said.

He said he didn’t know White and wasn’t sure whether White was even connected to the rival gang, which was called 53rd and Pine.

“We were all drunk,” Miller told the publication. “I was in a haze.”

He spent most of his teens and 20s in prison or juvenile detention facilities, he told Sports Illustrated, including for his role in the teenager’s death.

“By the time I was 16, I was just a straight-up gangbanger, thug,” he said. “I was drinking every day.”

He had tried to hide his criminal past from friends and colleagues, he said, before recently telling some of the people close to him.

In today’s world, the crime Larry Miller committed long ago – murder – forgivable. The crime Jon Gruden committed long ago – being politically incorrect in a private email – isn’t.

While Gruden has been the subject of non-stop news coverage in recent weeks, Larry Miller’s admission went pretty much under the radar. It’s the kind of thing CNN “embargoes.”

Miller didn’t commit a mortal sin (by today’s standards). He wasn’t politically correct. He also enjoys something Gruden doesn’t – black privilege.

The media called for Gruden’s firing and Raiders owner, Mark Davis, admits that the NFL forced it.

There have been no calls for Larry Miller’s firing – nor should there be. Kudos to him for turning his life around.

But the different treatment Miller and Gruden received points out the hypocrisy and double standards that exist in today’s world – murder is forgivable but words used in a private conversation aren’t. We are living in a screwed-up world.

Perhaps another old saying should be changed – from “At least he didn’t kill anyone” to “At least he didn’t say anything politically incorrect.”

The vaxx is supposed to stay in the muscle tissue but in a small number of cases the injection might accidentally hit a blood vessel and travel to organs. This is being advanced as an explanation for heart muscle inflammation and other unexpected symptoms.

A good discussion of vaccine accumulating in the tissues for anyone interested who hasn’t seen the reports before. It seems that not enough autopsies are being performed, for this and other situations related to Covid.

Dr. Bridle: “We Made a Big Mistake…We’re Inoculating a Poison”

This is what Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of the mRNA technology warned about. The spike proteins are not staying at the injection site and they are dangerous. Protein in the blood can be very dangerous.

A Canadian cancer vaccine researcher said last week, “We made a big mistake. We didn’t realize it until now,” said Byram Bridle, a viral immunologist and associate professor at University of Guelph, Ontario. “We thought the spike protein was a great target antigen, we never knew the spike protein itself was a toxin and was a pathogenic protein. So by vaccinating people we are inadvertently inoculating them with a toxin,” the Defender reports.

Dr. Bridle had filed a request for information from the Japanese regulatory agency to get access to Pfizer’s “biodistribution study.” That type of study helps determine where an injected compound travels in the body and which tissues or organs it accumulates in.

“It’s the first time ever scientists have been privy to seeing where these messenger RNA [mRNA] vaccines go after vaccination,” Bridle said in an interview with Alex Pierson where he first disclosed the data. “Is it a safe assumption that it stays in the shoulder muscle? The short answer is: absolutely not. It’s very disconcerting.”

“The Sars-CoV-2 has a spike protein on its surface. That spike protein is what allows it to infect our bodies,” Bridle explained. “That is why we have been using the spike protein in our vaccines,” Bridle said. “The vaccines we’re using get the cells in our bodies to manufacture that protein. If we can mount an immune response against that protein, in theory we could prevent this virus from infecting the body. That is the theory behind the vaccine.”

“However, when studying the severe COVID-19, […] heart problems, lots of problems with the cardiovascular system, bleeding and clotting, are all associated with COVID-19,” he added. “In doing that research, what has been discovered by the scientific community, the spike protein on its own is almost entirely responsible for the damage to the cardiovascular system, if it gets into circulation.”
When the purified spike protein is injected into the blood of research animals, they experience damage to the cardiovascular system and the protein can cross the blood-brain barrier and cause damage to the brain, Bridle explained.

The biodistribution study obtained by Bridle shows the COVID spike protein gets into the blood where it circulates for several days post-vaccination and then accumulates in organs and tissues including the spleen, bone marrow, the liver, adrenal glands and in “quite high concentrations” in the ovaries.

“We have known for a long time that the spike protein is a pathogenic protein, Bridle said. “It is a toxin. It can cause damage in our body if it gets into circulation.”

I remember reading that J&J efficacy was “only” 88% back when it first came out whereas Moderna and Pfizer were 96 or 97 or so.
People said not to worry. The lower rating for J&J was because some of the test subjects were sick from a variant, whereas M and Pf were ONLY tested against base line Covid.
All of the vaccines are optimized for OC (original Covid)
None of the vaccines are terrific against Delta, I guess J&J is particularly weak?

I would think this result is probably in the category of “expected”.

    Ummm …
The federal government has outlined procedures for federal employees to be compensated for any injuries they receive as a result of getting Covid-19 vaccines under President Biden’s mandate.

According to a bulletin issued by the Federal Employees’ Compensation Program under the Departm on ent of Labor, vaccine injuries are not usually covered under the federal program. However, because of the unprecedented step of the Covid-19 vaccines being required by executive order, the bulletin says an exception will be made.

The bulletin is the first tacit, official admission by the federal government that injury claims for Covid-19 vaccine are expected.

It’s unclear whether private employers and contractors who require vaccination under the mandate will be liable for vaccine injuries among their employees.

Wow. OSHA exempts vaccine injury from employer reporting requirements.
Talk about a thumb on the scale.

DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination at least through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.

    It’s a puzzle … from NewsBusters

Have a plate of crow, fear-mongers Dr. Anthony Fauci and Joy Reid. Your expectations of huge college football stadiums packed with thousands of fans serving as super-spreaders of COVID-19 have been disproven.

College football has reached the mid-season point, and COVID-19 outbreaks are on the decline in many of the states with the largest stadiums. Through weeks of mostly unmasked fans sitting side by side at college football games in huge stadiums, the dire predictions of the doomsday crowd have fallen flat on their face.

“As soon as I saw it (the opening of college football stadiums to fans in September), I thought COVID’s about to have a feast,” Reid told Dr. Fauci on NBC Today. “What did you think?” Fauci said, “I thought the same thing. I think it’s really unfortunate.”

What’s that? Dr. Fauci wrong? Again?

Up here in guilford co nc, it’s like a different world with the paranoia compared to where i live in ga. In ga, things were more or less back to pre-scare level, here it’s still stupid-level county mandated masks everywhere bla bla bla, I’ve still yet to put one on. compliance seems like ~90% from few sample places i’ve been (grocery stores, and one pharmacy where I was actually surprised nobody yelled at me), could be county forces the signage but maybe people themselves are over it idk. Up here helping a friend recover/get hip replacement srgy. MF’er were trying to covid test me to sit in the parking-lot, I was like are you joking, fuck off with that shit, they relented eventually.

vpn – for the more technical among us i recommend, technically out of italy, using them like 5yr or more now, solid, they do not pay for marketing, no-log,open,feature rich, have stayed small over the years, such that the service as stayed good, and they are very very picky about where they will host their gear. The downside, is actually the upside in that they’re for the more technical minded, they their client software do make things easy but it’s still tech oriented.

    20-lol lovely aint it.

memes – good shit thx for laughs.

27 – One wonders if the feds offering this to their own, leads to lawsuits for similar on the private side. What interesting though is the clear admitting that such can and will happen for some….or is the language being offered to help blut suits that bring that issue up as part of arguments. Still though, i’d rather have my health intact over compensation for serious complications (or worse) that could happen.

35-would not read too much into ia seat, was 22% turnout 4700 total votes, well supported gop pastor, vs unsupported (state party wise) D teacher. D’s probably thinking why waste money, take the seat back during the mid-terms when they can piggy back on all the other usual efforts and outside cash will be flowing.

48 – My thinking is by the time they start getting into mandates about which particular shots boosters you have/dont have they’ll have lost far more of the public – the data creeps will of course try anyway but my gut says that’s the point things go from reluctant acquiescence by large parts of the pop to “fuck this shit”. But I could be wrong because we should have been at “fuck this shit” by end of summer 2020.

Any I say no at any number – cause you know once passed, it’ll be ruled downward by regs, or quietly changed in some other fucking bill a year or 3 from now.

Good man KH. I’ll hoist a cool one for your friends fast recovery.

Personally I think most of the pushback is coming from the banks. Large volume transactions by most is rare, maybe when ya buy a car or house, so banks have not automated that process. The Big Boys are using SWIFT or interbank transfer which is automated. The $600 limit would push the banks to publish reams of forms they are not ready for.

My gut says that the govt will get less data, not more. It would be quite easy for me or anyone else to just make one large withdrawal every month for cash (that is a bank headache too), deal locally in cash as much as possible.
