Most Americans Don’t Care

2022 June 11

… but the Democrats and the media are trying to shove the January 6 show trial down their throats.

The ratings are in and the show trial bombed.

Context: The evening newscasts on CBS, NBC & ABC average anywhere from 18 to 20 million viewers combined on a typical night. Those newscasts do not air in primetime. The January 6 hearings airing in primetime Thursday took in just 11+ million viewers on those three same networks.
8pm ET
ABC Attack on the Capitol 0.5 4.477
NBC January 6th Hearings 0.4 3.296
CBS Capitol Assault Hearings 0.3 3.335
9pm ET
ABC AOC 0.6 4.233
NBC Jan 6 0.4 3.331
CBS CAH 0.3 3.139
@burackbobby_ @JoeConchaTV
As might be expected, MSNBC had 4.2-million viewers and CNN 2.6-million. So approximately 20-million watched. It would be interesting to see party and ideological breakdowns,  but likely the overwhelming majority were Democrats and leftists.
The Democrats and the left (how’s that for repetition?) are hoping these kangaroo court proceedings, gun control and claims of white supremacy can distract American voters from issues like inflation, rising gas prices, open borders and other issues Americans truly care about.
Hat tip: Joe Concha and Fox News

For the finish….

    5, LOL.
People would turn against the J6 show trials if we had honest reporting:
    1) compare with Dem protests, such as Code Pink, the shootings of Scalise and other Repubs by a “Bernie Bro”, the calls for SCOTUS assassinations, etc
    2) honest appraisal of the protests, such as no weapons on the protestors, guards allowing them into the building(s), no real damage, the role of gov’t agents
    3) the viciousness of gov’t punishment, protestors in jail for months on end, none charged with sedition, only charged with misdemeanors, the way FBI has no whistle blowers coming forward they are content to be allies of the Dem Party instead of serving America

    But we won’t see that.
Perhaps the biggest story of the past, say, decade is that people are so passive. Take away my freedom and put me in Shutdown? No problem. Ruin my business, mess up my kids with horrible gov’t schools? No problem. Dangerous gov’t policies that lose allies and anger our enemies? No problem. People are willing to take a lot of downside if they can just get by without being involved. I have a fellow parent, nice guy who I run into from time to time. He’s Jewish. It occurs to me that he’s a “good German”. He does what he is told, gets his jabs, etc. And he averts eyes from the injustices being done to Traditional Americans. He averts eyes from becoming educated on what’s really going on …

Meanwhile, I saw a report that gov’t tax revenues are way down in May. Analysis says that means the economy is slowing dramatically. I wonder, though. Does tax-rev go down due to April 15th payments being in the previous month, or is the tax-rev loss a real thing? I guess time will tell.

Probably quarterly payments for those companies on a non-standard calendar reporting period. Most of the tech sector close their annual books in March for example.

So, if crypto (which market is open 24×7) is down sharply today does that mean the stock market will crash hard on Monday when it opens?

Well, the gov’t is being “run” so poorly these days, of course one expects the wheels to come off sooner or later but … hmmm … maybe

A really good look at the econ “macro” situation. Which countries and areas are strong and why? Which economic forces (commodities, currencies) are strong and why.

Divided into chapters, the chapter with guest Luke Gromen is the highlight for me. One interesting section is a compare/contrast of 2 scenarios:
    1) “Dollar Milkshake”, as weaker currencies and weaker countries fade, assets go to the “safer” dollar and make it strong
    2) “Dollar’s loss of being the reserve currency”, because US has sanctioned countries fewer will want to hold dollars. Because our debt is sky-high, we can’t raise interest rates or the debt payments will overwhelm us. Because inflation is burning like crazy, we must raise interest rates to bring it under control. Because our tax and other gov’t policy is so brain-dead we aren’t an efficient economy and we can’t grow out of our problems.

“Spanish newspaper El Mundo, and other news agencies, reported last week that Jose Maria Fernandez Sousa-Faro, president of European pharmaceuticals giant Pharma Mar was among 2,200 Spanish elites and celebs, investigated by police for allegedly paying thousands of Euros to be injected with a saline solution – salt water – instead of any of the Covid vaccines and so had their names added, falsely, to the National Immunization registry.”…
“Dr. Sousa-Faro is among more than 2,200 celebrities and European elites on the list drawn up by National Police of those falsely vaccinated against Covid.”….
    Quite a few athletes named.

Plus this, although the facts are more muddy for this one.

‘More than 80 NYC teachers are accused of submitting fake vaccine cards as part of $1.5m scheme ‘run by a holistic pediatric center”

    – Eighty-two NYC school teachers were accused of submitting fake vaccine cards they purchased from the Wild Child Pediatric Healthcare facility, in Amityville
    – The clinics owner and two staff members were arrested and charged with selling the fake cards to hundreds of customers

Interesting since the Chins have had a strategy of area denial —

But still, 3 allied subs in the strait of Molucca will kill 500m Chinese. 90% of the energy they use still comes from the ME. Deny that passage and China grinds to a halt and dies.

Hrumph, how do they know they got the saline? Just because you paid does not guarantee the outcome. A prissy nurse, a sanctimonious doctor, they could switch vials and give them the clot shot instead. 🙂

12, the reality is the dollar will likely go higher against other currencies as it is the cleanest shirt in the dirty laundry bin, but still continue to lose reserve currency status because as the year progresses more and more countries will consider it a slow poison to their future survival. The dollar is now seen as a heavy club that will be used to hammer you down if you dare to step out of line. Who in their right mind hands that kind of weapon to an unstable and arrogant friend, let alone an enemy.

There still is no answer on what will replace the dollar. Still, my guess is it will be a variety of solutions crafted to fit specific circumstances between trading partners rather than any other single currency.

In a world where we are actively sinking oil tankers in the South Asian seas to deny China critical energy supplies, I don’t think an overground pipeline will be seen as anything but the softest of soft targets. Also, in such a situation, where 500m Chinese are threatened with starvation, nukes would likely start flying pretty quickly.

Watched the documentary “What is a woman?” yesterday with the wife. Two thumbs up.

My wife usually has an open mind on such matters, but the documentary pretty much sealed to deal on it being nothing more than the left sacrificing “other people’s” kids to a mass delusion to score political points against transphobes, radicals, and religious nuts (aka, normal people).

Patriot Front Member Was Arrested in Idaho Carrying Megaphone Marked “FBI”
On Saturday 31 members of the Patriot Front group, an alleged white supremacist group, were arrested in Idaho on the way to a protest.
They were traveling to a gay pride event with shields in the back of a Uhaul.
Kristinn Taylor reported on the Patriot Front arrests earlier tonight.
We do not know why this Patriot Front member was carrying this megaphone. We look forward to the FBI’s response.
Let’s hope the megaphone is returned to the feds when he’s done. The FBI may need it for their next rally.

Soros plan to shut down Fox News

In all honesty, he would be doing us a favor. Fox News is controlled opposition. Anyone still listening to MSM, Fox News included, is either a blithering idiot already, or on the way to becoming one. The handful of on-air personalities worth anything will find another venue with less corporate filtering. They may get a pay cut, boo hoo, $2M a year instead of $12M, but their audience will increase.

Here’s what you need to know:

Don’t delay — get tested as soon as possible after your symptoms start. Treatment must be started within days after you first develop symptoms to be effective.
If you test positive, talk to your doctor or healthcare provider right away to find out if treatment is right for you, even if your symptoms are mild. There are multiple options for treating COVID-19 at home or in an outpatient setting.”
